Thank you for your encouraging story. My husband has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Peritoneal Cancer. He is going through chemo now and hoping to have the Hipec surgery. It’s so frightening but sharing your journey has been a comfort. I admire your strength and courage. I pray that you will continue to be strong and healthy.

Truer words were never spoken, unfortunately. Five years ago, I had symptoms of lymphoma - fatigue, unexplained fevers, itching, and bloodwork I’d kept showed an elevated white count that the doctor had ignored - and asked my GP to run tests. She rolled her eyes and said I didn’t have lymphoma, and should focus instead on a bad ankle injury. Once home, I got pissed off at being dismissed and saw her again a week later. That time I insisted on being tested, and - after arguing again - finally ordered tests. Stage IV non-Hodgkin lymphoma, plus I had a large tumour in my chest. Fight for the tests and care you need! My GP had to apologize (she hated every second of it) and is now teaching medical students. God help them and their future patients!

Looks like Erythromelalgia, It starts with Raynauds syndrome and just gets worse if you don't address the cause.

Has anyone had experience with Cologard as a screening test? Is it reliable? I don't trust hospitals right now so my GP suggested the Cologard for screening. I don't know.

Very interesting. I had itching on my scalp for several months prior to being diagnosed with lymphoma, a tumor between my eye and nose. I think doctors are missing something here.

I went to the doctors with severe pain down my left arm and swelling. All the doctor kept repeatedly saying was lose weight and the pain should go away. 😢 Im a uk size 10 which is not overweight 🤣 utter rediculous. Now a year later im booked in for surgery after going back at least 10 times since last year as the pain got unbearable and spread which should of rung alarm bells to do something quicker. Had to wait about 3 months for a scan once i was finally referred which was suposed to be fast tracked. One lesson iv learned is always advoocate for yourself and keep going back until your heard no matter what. You know your own body better than any doctor does. Especially Young people in their 20's and 30's are not taken seriously and are too easily fobbed off by doctors. This needs to change no matter what age/weight a person is.

I feel so guilty for asking this question, but did you take the Covid vaccine? We’re hearing so much about how sleeping and latent cancer cells were awakened in people who took the Covid vaccine. I have great empathy for what you’re going through as I’ve had some serious colorectal scares myself in the last two years and I’ve been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. Thank goodness it was caught before it transitioned into a cancer, but I certainly understand, the difficulty of what you’re going through. I will keep you in my prayers… God bless.!

There are some very encouraging comments here TBH, I always thought pancreatic cancer was a death sentence. Apparently not, judging from all the comments of long lives after being diagnosed. That should give you a positive outlook on your situation. Good health to you.

I read the comments here . I am reminded that all of us will have to go through the death process. It not the cancer or the method . It is the knowing , the certainty . I mean you have to keep death almost as an abstract to keep your sanity . I hope when death finds me , it will be surprise without any foreknowledge. In my sleep would be preferable

Don't feel bad, I had a GP, she waited so long, I was near death by the time she sent me to oncologist. My sister is RN, read all the blood work to her, she stated my doctor waited so long that I was walking on death's door..... doctor couldn't keep taking blood otherwise she'd be walking on the court system from my family. Luckily my oncologist took my situation much more aggressively than my GP. The family practitioner just kept taking blood test after blood test and couldn't figure things out. Then she made stupid joke that I was her only patient with polycythemia vera. How dare her make jokes after near killing me. 🤔😳😡 You're blessed you have a wonderful wife that had the common sense to set you on the correct path. Blessings to both of us, and others with this crazy illness. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

And we absolutely have to advocate for ourselves. I keep running into situation over and over and over again where because I was in the medical field for 30 years simple things like using a hair dryer on a cool setting to keep your wound dry two doctors offices that did the surgery said wow I didn't know about that. So yes be your own advocate but do not be misled or guided by fear by what you might read on the internet still talk with your doctor but yes your video is absolutely right
