Even as a non religious person I found this movie deeply moving. Robbie Benson and Rod Steiger feel like father and son, their journey is as poignant as it is finally liberating. A gem of a film.

We read The Chosen in high school in the early 80's. I cared for it then and I care so much more deeply for it now.

I just love te book and I would really like to see this film.. could you upload it or tell me where I can watch it? I tried to buy it on amazon, but they only have DVD's for region 1..

I've only seen the movie once (dang - because I love Robbie Benson) but the book is better. I didn't like the book sequel though.

@blackturkeynight did this for school project. the book is a lot better than the movie
