Amazing play from Kane. Wow. Serves were insane. And bravo again to this channel for enabling me to watch a full match in 15 minutes!

Good stuff. Wondering about the US Open this year. I’d like to travel from Kentucky but don’t have no info

Thanks. I would love to travel and watch them play. I heard is one thing to watch them play online and another to be there. That the videos don't do justice to how good they are. I don't have any info either. If I find anything, I'll leave a comment about it.

I just realized we've been playing facing the wrong direction the whole time. We thought the line the receiver had to stand behind was the line the server had to get their serve past 😂. We just started learning how to play though

Don't feel bad, we were serving into the really long wall. I was wondering why the games were going so fast. Very easy to hit a wide crosscourt.

Kane is racquetball. That's how I see it. He has the shots. He has the athleticisim. He knows how to play the refs. He knows how to play the crowd. He has the anticipation. His mechanics are second to none. The only sad thing is that racquetball is not what most would consider an alive sport. It's such a shame. But I get it. The ball moves too fast. There is no tin. The calls are inconsistent. Unless you've played the sport then it looks chaotic in there.

Kane is a beast! I would like to think that I'm helping racquetball to grow yearly. Each comment, and like helps spreading the sport we love. Thanks for the comment :)

crazy how no-one gave kane a true run for his money during his career, even the #2's and #3's are v far below him. All the top pros had a chance to become Kane's rival but none of them could step up.
@racquetballhighlights77216 ай бұрын
One thing that I noticed. Is that Kane stayed focus during his prime years, no outdoor racquetball, no pickleball. Only indoor racquetball.

@@racquetballhighlights7721 ok, but why do they place it on the surface of the wall? It could interfere with the shots, and also could be easily destroyed or simply mess up the images, making it worthless and dangerous.

As somebody who has never played this before: Why do they sometimes SLAM the serve, while other times they barely hit it?
@racquetballhighlights77218 ай бұрын
You get 2 serves. Most of the time you want to slam (Drive serve) the serve on your first serve, the goal is to either ace your opponent or get a weak return. Then on your second serve you can drive it or lob it if up to your strategy.
@racquetballhighlights77218 ай бұрын
I have a pretty decent lob serve, so as part of my game style I probably start lobbing instead of drive serving.

Idk the sport at all (friend is asking if I'd be down to start playing at the local gym, I needed an excuse to get my ass out and go, so I said yes), but the dude diving for the ball at 1:25 and the gesture of the other dude offering to help him up (I imagine he did help him up, but the clip cut too soon) makes me think this is a much more friendly kind of sport, which I really appreciate.
@racquetballhighlights77218 ай бұрын
I could say that I have more racquetball friends than friends from work or school. 99.99% of the players are cool, then like everything in life you get that 00.01% that are A-holes. But guess what, you can beat them in the court and go home pretty happy about. Is a win, win.
@racquetballhighlights77218 ай бұрын
I was couch potato. Racquetball has kept me active for the last 8 years. Physically and mentally. Physically, because I get to run and strengths my cardio. I get to practice on my eye hand coordination and balance. Mentally, because you have to focus 100%, you have to be all in, or you will get hit and it hurts when you do. You give your mind a break from personal problems and all that other BS that come with being an adult. You get to be a kid again. Have fun! I'm in FL. Where do you play?
