Had to watch the reply, I missed you last night. Love your chick. She’s adorable and reminds me of my favorite Aunt. Lol All o f your work is so inspiring. I love your designs. I don’t actually do anything in ceramics. I don’t even think there’s many options around here. But love watching you especially your Christmas ornaments. Acrylic painting and learning one stroke is more of what I do. I’ve learned so much from you and really appreciate your talent. Thank you.

Hi Paula. Would you consider teaching us glass kiln owners a bit on what clays we can get and make plates for example and the actually paint with your products and fuse in our kilns ? My hubby bought me some “low fire” clay and stoneware clay as I wanted to make some slab tiles and impress leaf patterns into them and then paint them Thank you ❤

I can do that. The clay needs to be fired to 1930 or higher, and most glass kilns don't go that high. Let me put something together for you.

Thank you for the awesome video. I hope you are feeling better!! You mentioned in the video that you would not recommend using kalenski brushes with acrylic paint. Is there a reason why?

Most people don't wash their brushes out throughly. With the price of pure Kolinsky brushes, and if you don't keep them clean, it would be a waste of money. These I used are a blend and less expensive, so they are a great substitute. They are great to use if you take care of them.

Wonderful video, I enjoyed your adept brush work and confidence painting the rim. Thank you got your great instructional video. I needed this. I'm an oil painter and certain brushwork did not work for me with underglaze, on greenware. Scumbling was not successful. I am going to try painting on the bisque canvases, that just came out of the kiln at Greenwich House Pottery. The one stroke brushwork is lovely. Each time I see it, I relax.

About a year. Keep it closed tightly and in a cool place. Place in a zip lock bag to keep air out of it.

How many layers do you apply? How it is different from underglaze or pigment ? Is it oily ? I see you can drag it easily ..

Only 1 coat 90% of the time. The Color Concentrates are a translucent underglaze.

It is a water-based product, it isn't oily.

Don't shake the Layering mix. Tap your container on the table to make the bubbles all come to the top and then let it set for a while. That should get rid of most of them.

Yes, you could do it on top of the Prismatic Textured Sand technique base or on a pour that the enamels were mixed with Layering mix.
