What??? Russ won 5 straight & beat KC & BUF??? Russ was on his way taking dnvr to the playoffs then psycho Sean shut it down cuz he's emotionally unstable. All the Broncs backed Russel. Try the truth & facts.

Don't know how to act with these Quarterbacks. With Russell l really think he never gelled with the Broncos. With the Steelers it's old school football. The run game may be more to his liking. It would be more like the Seahawks with Marshawn Lynch.

@@michaelbooth4998 I hope Russell likes the Steelers. He will definitely be in the best organization in football. I think he will like having a running game. It's going to be an interesting season.

I like that Jordan Reed is included in this list even though he was picked after TK. JR was incredible when healthy but under sized and played with reckless abandon. It's a good thing TK was not taken by Washington. Snyder would have ruined him.

What could Barry have done with a better team? OSU 1988 x 10. The NFL record books would be 'The book of Barry".

He’s the very best! Lost well over a thousand yards but still averaged 5 yards per carry. He’s the one and only. No one has stats like that. On a bad team.

Barry is # 1! Hard to imagine a back losing so much yardage but still averaged 5.0. On a good team, he probably would’ve averaged 6.0 or greater.

Perhaps I am biased. But, in my humble opinion, he is the greatest RB in history. Yes, there's Walter Payton was great (though Payton played on a Super Bowl winner ... and actually had an offensive line ... and played more seasons), and there was Jim Brown ... both greats. But Barry just had another gear.

How great was Barry Sanders? 🤔 Well, Barry Switzer told his Sooners defense before playing OSU, " Whatever you do, DON'T injure Thurman Thomas." Cause he knew his in-state rivals had a skinny sophomore as a back-up @ RB who they absolutely could not guard.

Ridiculously good. His college and pro career spanned Middle school to early college years for me and he was the Michael Jordan of the NFL to me. If he was playing you watched because something you NEVER saw in football would happen with him playing.

When they show Barry running in slow motion it reminds me of those animal documentaries where they show Cheetahs slowed down chasing their prey. His spine seems to move just like the spine of a big cat.

Maybe the greatest RB ever. But the "Lions were bad" line that you hear frequently just isn't true. The Lions made the playoffs 5 times in Sanders' 10 year career, played in an NFC championship game, and won the NFC North 3 times. They made the playoffs 6 out of 10 years in the 90s (including the year after he retired), and had multiple offensive linemen and a TE make the Pro Bowl in the 90's including the great Kevin Glover. Twice they had TWO offensive linemen make the Pro Bowl the same year. They obviously weren't on the same level as the Cowboys or 49ers, but Barry played on solid playoff teams with a good line for the majority of his career.

Respect. For a fan, It really sucked that he retired early. For him, it probably was the best thing. I'm a Vikings fan. He used to obliterate us when the Lions came to Town. LOL. Fontes game plan was just "Give to Barry".

Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, in that order. Not only for the way they carry the ball but for the way they carry themselves, after that put the rest whichever order you like, by this I do not mean disrespect for anyone for there are true great ones but for me it’s got to be those 3 in that order

The only competition Barry has as a RB is Jim Brown. Jim Brown was like a modern RB going back in time to the 60's when Pro Bowl Defensive Linemen were 240 pounds. So that's how good he was. There is only one guy who can compete with him. Barry may well be top 5 all time NFL player, regardless of position. I can't name 5 guys off the top of my head who were certainly better at football than him. That's how good he was.

If Barry's dad would of cheered Barry on instead of telling him he will never be the best or better than Jim brown, we literally watched Barry say to his dad, you're right. Even though we all know that Barry would have destroyed any generation. Plus rushing for a team like the lions was probably the other 50% on why he quit when he did.

I was at an Okla State game where Thurman Thomas was the running back and Barry Sanders was the return man. It was an epic game as I got to watch Barry score on a return. I may not remember much from my college days, but I will always remember that game.
