The Schiller and Weiss documentary is contained in a DVD package titled "The International Sweethearts of Rhythm" which is the name of the featured documentary of several on the disc on the all women band which toured during World War II. It's available and should be gotten for libraries. Schiller and Weiss also have two docs on Stonewall called Before Stonewall and After Stonewall. All this may be posted on Yt for the looking and again should be gotten for library collections.

If I'm not mistaken it was a director years later that, after watching this exact sketch with her and Williams, got the idea to cast Williams for the movie One Hour Photo. His role in One Hour Photo was such a delicious departure from his normally rapid-fire comedic mind and a dive into the mind of a lonely, obsessed and demented soul that was far from what Williams ever attempted on screen before or since. And he nailed it. This movie remains one of my favorites of all time.

I was widowed 20 years ago. My husband was only 40 when he died unexpectedly. I wailed in the back yard for 2 weeks after he died. This, though comedy, is something real.

I hadn’t seen this before; can’t imagine two more talented comedians performing together. Knowing what I now know about Whoopi Goldberg, I have a hard time watching her do anything, even if it’s humorous.

For those interested...this skit isn't from "The Carol Burnett Show". This is a sketch from a one hour comedy special that aired on ABC in February 1987 called "Carol, Carl, Whoopi and Robin". Carol Burnett hosted the show with guests Robin Williams, Carl Reiner & Whoopi Goldberg. Robin Williams won an Emmy Award for his performance in this special - well deserved for sure.

Thank you for that info🥰Rather heart wrenching the irony of the skit considering the outcome of such a comedic genius 😢So sad how life’s traumas can still affect those you think have everything-if you’re troubled, you’re troubled. Fame, bank account, family and friends-it doesn’t matter and that’s so heartbreaking. RIP Mr. Robin Williams🥹

@Deam7666 Robin sadly suffered from a degenerative neurologic disorder, which affected his cognition and his mood. Lewy body dementia was diagnosed too late.

When she gives him the Eunice Look, with a fast build-up after she does "hamster claws," he had a hard time holding it together. Then she was bleeped, which threw him. She gives as good as she gets.
