I'm getting a greyhound (rescued from spain, spanish greyhound) once I find the right rescue for me. I had a whippet, Paavo, who made me fall in love with sighthounds, but we had to put him down due to cancer (a massive tumor that bursted, and filled him with internal bleeding. Nothing could've been done) and I've wanted a rescue greyhound for years, and especially now that I lost my special boy

I’m scared, I don’t like being emotional, vulnerable or talkative but I have not been the best boyfriend and need to show that I appreciate her and everything she is, well everyone with me luck 😅

First time visitor and viewer of you content. You were very articulate about the description of each journal size, Your input as a veteran journaler was golden. Maybe for a more specific video, you can explain what are the limits of each size as far as journaling goes. Like you mentioned, some people like putting picture drawing in their journaling etc. The thing that made me very sad was I just invested a bunch in The Travelers Notebook, Regular and Passort size for organizing and journaling , and you mentioned the flaw in there narrow sizes. Especially for left hander, ( like me). What do I do now? lol, anyways thanks for the feedback. I did buy a Lechteum1917 A5, so I may use it more , based upon your feedback.

Thinking about giving me a greyhound in the future I’ve always raised Pitbulls, but I want to try a different breed and I was researching on dogs that are big, but aren’t aggressive and greyhounds are one of those dogs plus they’re easy to maintain as well as what I’m hearing. They’re also very friendly and get along with other dogs and animals

I think I’ve done this for a long time but didn’t realize it was called “steam of consciousness” writing. I think being less judgmental and more compassionate towards myself is what writing has helped me realize in general. It’s very powerful! Thanks for sharing!!

Would definitely like to learn more about your and Nyla’s story. We came close to adopting a Greyhound years ago at a meet and greet, but were discouraged when we told them our location. We live on a county highway in a ranch style house, and they told us. with them being a sight dog, they could easily get away from us. After watching Nyla, so calmly walking through the park, makes me wonder if we made the right choice. Although it’s too late for us, I’m happy too see more people rescuing these beautiful animals.

I think you should call into Howard Stern and ask his advice! ;) [that's how I found you LOL] In all honesty, I find your journaling content great. But if you are doing You Tube and its not a source of income, it has to be fun for you. I suggest making videos you would want to watch and naturally people will find you. If you are engaged with what you are filming, it will find the right people. My husband does videos and I know how much WORK it takes: setting up lighting, coming up with the idea for the video, the editing, the uploading, the rendering, keeping it fresh in each one, how often should he post, oh its been 5 months have people forgotten me, etcetc. A child is 4 full time jobs in one alone! haha. I suggest keeping your core content as journaling: perhaps more journal with me videos, prompts/topics like you did a few years ago. Point is: make the videos you would want to watch because its authentic. Take care!

Back in '95 My wife & I rescued our big boy Commander! He was to be a friend to our standard poodle Clio! He fell in love with her! She Even saved his life once. The meter reader didn't close the gate all the way so they got out. They ran street rat crazy for a while! My wife was working at her desk in her office when Clio would run into her office and stand & stare at mom. She did this about 3 or 4 times. Finaly my wife notice Commander wasn't around so Clio keep running out of the house so Mary followed her down the street and their was the Greyhound in a big deep ditch and he was running up & down trying to get out but it was very muddy & he couldn't get out!! My wife had to get our neighbor and a rope to get him out!! He was so scared he wouldn't leave her side! So when I got home from work I got "guess what I did today" story. Great loving dog and we still miss him everyday!! Every morning he would wake up eat breakfast go out pee & poop then run 5 or 6 laps around our acre then nap for many hours. The Rainbow got a pretty good dog with him & Clio.

They outlawed racing in FL several years ago. Now, you don’t even see greyhounds any more. They barely exist in FL now.

This is a wonderful video. I'm not a regular viewer, but as a new dad this video is so helpful to find ways to journal. I have been using an A5 for the last few years which stays at my desk. With a baby, I feel like I need a pocket notebook for my journal so I can carry it around the house with me. I'm so glad to hear your experiences about moving to a pocket notebook. It's great to record these precious newborn moments in a journal.

I don't remember ever journalling / dear diary (45F) . I was an only child so didn't have to worry about that. Though I realise that one thing that maybe contributed to my writers block was writing a poem , inspired by "Tiger, Tiger burning bright" instead it was about a candle that was being snuffed out. It wasn't gory ot anything, but I think it freaked out my mum as she said concerningly " that's pretty dark" .... don't remember anything else. But I didn't write creatively for another 5 years- when something really bad happened when I was nearly 16. I don't think I've ever let anyone read those 10 poems. And haven't even tried poeting since😅. Trying to even USE the lovely colour pencils I was gifted on that 16th birthday for the last 30 years has been impossible. This comment is mini journalling/ processing I think🤯! I've been trying to set up systems and goals and artisit dates. struggling. But just came up with a new one, somewhat inspired multiple things and this video- I'm 46 end of this year. How can I reparent/ reprocess this year so that when I hit 46th birthday I can truly celebrate and get creative with my pencils and art supplies❤. Thank you
