Hi Scott I airbrushed for a living for 35 years. I retired a while back. Back ground. I started airbrushing t's in Florida for 10 years. Moved west and Airbrushed Harley's/trucks and cars, helmets you know. That last 30 years. I always hard work. Then I stopped and move back to where my family is. Now I airbrush for myself. Airbrushing is my love! Back then you could always find work that is if you where good enough. Today is different. yes there is still some that can really freehand but there are many with vinyl. Nice seeing you doing the tube. 🤟

Unfortunately, I can never catch an actual live stream from you, but I ALWAYS watch the video afterward. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing the tutorials, it's a huge help. One question. Where did you get that easel you use? It would be great for my tiny little studio

Createx should give you a raise. I know exactly what I would be saying. Especially after working with HOK all week. 🤪 I'd be cussing words never before heard. You are a very professional rep. Even if you forgot to sell us the 4021.

I have a couple of questions about this, its so good, I've set it as one of my airbrush goals to recreate something similar. First question is about the panel, is this a black powder coat panel you scrub up for some tooth? Secondly, as your using Createx Illustration do you add any balancing clear into the paints before you spray or do you just reduce with water/4011 slightly and then clear coat when dry? Lastly is just about colours you mention createx illustration red (not the first opaque red you put down but later) are you using C.I. Scarlett or maybe the pyrrole red or the Berlin-Fire red lol? I can't find just a transparent red on its own in the Illustration line. Thanks!
@ThinAirGraFxАй бұрын
Mix Candys one to one Candy to 4050. I don’t reduce unless needed the candy itself thins the 4050. I used illustration red Scarlett I believe. Any of the no one opaque reds will work. Depends on the tone you want. And yes it’s a black panel scuffed with red and grey scuff pad.

I'm having trouble with air leakage on my H+S modular airbrush holder, some air escapes but i can't find out where, just enough air to make my detail not consistent, I wondered if this could be used even though there is no real thread just a washer on a smooth surface connection, you think it would work? Did you ever use the modular H+S running air through it if you did any air escape? Thanks!
@ThinAirGraFxАй бұрын
The holder with the airline attachment ? I never used it but I would check the threads and rather use bees wax or tephlon tape on the threads. If you can fine it out it in a bucket of water and see were it coming from. Might be a joint or bad seem
@theinternetseekers2436Ай бұрын
@@ThinAirGraFx Thanks! I'll test it in a bucket of water thanks mate. where it joins to the adjoining holder there are no threads its just a washer and a flat surface i feel thats probably where the air is escaping, its not a lot of air but enough to be annoying, I did teflon where there is a thread where the air comes in but didn't solve it. I'll try it in the water thanks again!
brown will be interesting , mix candis and make brown.
