Cross shopped and test drove ALL midsize trucks, including Ridgeline early 2024, and test drove full size ford, Chevrolet and GMC trucks. I opted for this truck mainly because I did not need a full size (kids grown) and I did not need to tow much. I opted for a nismo lift just to help a bit and not void the warranty. I got all the packages, about $3500 off msrp and a good interest rate. Resale not a concern here cuz this is a keeper.

Here’s a knee slapper for you. Last summer at this time an area Dodge dealer was advertising a used 2018 Ram 3500 Cummins Crewcab with 150,000 miles on it. Here’s the catch, apparently a tree had fallen on it and mangled the front of the box and back of the cab. This beauty was advertised ‘as is’ with a price - wait for it $56,000!

Jesussss those diesel guys try to rob everyone. Look at indiana used diesels when you get a chance. You'll get sick just a warning. I had a friend buy a truck for 11k and drove the piss out of it broke a bunch of stuff than posted it for 12500. I went up to him and just asked what did you add to the truck to make it worth more money. He just gave me a look of disappointment 😂 the TYPICAL diesel guy suckssss

Toyota is destroying their vehicles by taking out the V6 engines and replacing it with 4 cyl turbo. I will never buy another Toyota with this configuration. Go back to the excellent powerful and tested V6 engines or watch your company go down the tubes.

I’ve noticed on a lot of his videos he says a lot of wrong stuff. Like the Jeep gladiator Mojave only to 4500 pounds. He claims the Base Sport is like all the gladiators and they tow 7600 pounds. His facts are not correct.

On 2/29/24 I bought a leftover 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the premium and technology pkgs. no one wanted a 6’ bed and I need one. I paid almost $5K less than MSRP. It’s my first new vehicle since 94. I plan on driving my Tacoma until I die because we simply cannot afford the new prices. To replace my truck today would set us back almost $70K

2:43 Dude, the 5.7 Hemi is gone for 2025, replaced by a straight 6 twin turbo engine. Also, Ecodiesel went away after the 2023 model year. You should do your research.

I'm through with Ram and Fiat-Chrysler. Reason? They've been building cars and trucks for a very long time, and they can't design or engineer sun visors that don't come loose and pop off at any random time, including while driving. Happened to both sun visors on my 2020 Ram, one side was fixed under warranty and the other popped off after warranty expired after three years and will cost $200-$400 to fix. It turns out, this has been a common issue with Rams and Jeeps for years, and no recall has been issued yet. Of all things--sun visors. SMH.

$66,200? For a full-size fully loaded pick up? Meanwhile the new Tacoma’s are a smaller truck and are around the same price for the higher trims… coming from a Toyota guy I’d rather have a full size Ram for those prices.

I almost bought another Ford but the one I was driving (14 Ecoboost 150) died in the middle of an intersection (3rd fuel sending unit) on my way to the dealership. Barely over 100k, the center diff no longer worked. My '05 Titan I had through my early 20's I got rid of at 185k with all original parts still ran and drove just fine and the 4wd worked. That Ecoboost would move when it wanted to but I also used to hate how hitting a bump in a turn would send the steering all over the place and turn radius with a long bed was somehow worse than our 450 drw. Have a Chevy 2500 6.6 that has been pretty solid minus the insane gas costs and another Titan. Transmission on the new Titan is goofy, 1st gear ratio is like a granny gear, second is similar ratio to 1st on most trucks and it makes it feel like the trans can't get out of its own way when accelerating from a stop. Had RAM Rebel as a rental on a work trip, fantastic truck rides great with coil spring rear, leaf springs are better if your going to tow and I couldn't get past the gear shift volume knob.

Poorly researched video. The 2025 comes equipped with an inline 6 cylinder engine, not a V8.
@MOJeepr16 күн бұрын
Just came here to say this. It says "2025", and you can even see the "SST" on the hood badge (inline 6 turbo), but all info provided on the engines is for 2024 (early 2024 even, as the Ecodiesel was discontinued early in 2024).

Good God...I thought you may have known what you are talking about. Then, one of the FIRST (1:27) things you say about the Tundra is it's durable...reliable. Are you for real. Who hurt you? Are you being forced or cajoled? If not then we have credibility issues here my man, or AI.
@26longlongtime18 күн бұрын
Well said with the Titan. Not many people choose it for towing or construction, and its not the first choice for "pavement princess" either

I have had all 3 in my construction company and i disagree Ford is the worst one of all!! Stays in the shop more than the rest and the worst mileage per gallon to. The best one is the Ram got 17 of them and no problems but a recall and gets 24mpg. Chevy does have the power though. Plus ford rides like crap

But . But Motor Trend named the Chevy Colorado 2024 truck of the year. The first thing I look at would be falling behind in new tech. As in , I want as little new tech as possible. I don’t want it to drive or park for me. I don’t want displacement on demand or start / stop technology. I don’t want a tiny displacement engine with an expensive to replace hair dryer pumping hot air into my cylinders and turning the engine bay into a sauna. I’ll keep my 2006 Nissan Frontier. It’s been very reliable the last 103k miles. And it has plenty of go. Best yet its been 13 years since I had a monthly payment.
