We are finally seeing a special Coach who gets it. He is genuine in his approach to the team, players, and community. As someone who was around during the Seth Greenberg years, the conversation about worrying about having a packed-ish house and then screwing the pooch really resonated with me. Some people forget (not Collin Sherwin-see the Voodoo Five Eulogies for more on this) how packed the Dome was during that period and how many times we USFed away the big stage opportunity (BTW, while typing, Matt Bonner just scored again). Steeg, high school kids play at night, they don't deal with the sun in their eyes and, there is something to all the other stadiums in Florida being oriented generally North-South or close to it. AND, personally I don’t like the idea of the entryway into the stadium area being labeled "Champions Way". Let’s earn our accolades first, it can be added later after we've actually won a conference championship. AND finally, if the renderings provided are correct, there’s more seats in the North stands than in the South "shady" stands. Maybe they could build the press box up higher to accommodate more of those coveted shady seats in the South stands. That's where the alumni, who count the most, will sit. IF PEOPLE DON'T START SPEAKIING UP NOW YOU WILL END UP WITH THIS. Silence is perceived as tacit agreement. I know this is not the final plan, but why put these out if they're not generally correct.

I could see it doing a good amount of concerts...having tons of college age kids within a 2 mile radius. Parking is my concern and capacity around 40k would be better. But its something that needs to be done.

Really pleased USF gets a P5(4) opponent, which is rare for a 6-6 G5 team. This should be enough of an opponent to motivate USF. Right now I see a close ball game. Maybe we're +5.5 underdogs. An upset is doable.
