The Fokker D.VII has to easily be one of the best fighters of WW1. Such a mean looking machine. James Holland does get everywhere, doesn't he?! What is an S.E.6?!?

Not many F4F's left. The only one I recall seeing is on display in Chicago's O'Hare airport. This example is an FM-2.

The stripes are not invasion stripes, these are squadron markings of the Jasta6

If they fixed the wheels the Spitfire would have been twice as good.

The Blenheim is a classic example of how rapid aircraft development was at the time. Introduced as a fast light bomber, it was a monoplane with an enclosed cockpit and retractable undercarriage, supposedly too quick for the fighters of the time. Just a few years later it was hopelessly outclassed and easy prey for German fighters.
