I had a client that wanted mowing every 2 weeks. When I told them the next year it was going to be a weekly service from now on they threw a fit and I lost them. I didn't want the job anymore because they wanted the least amount of work done for the least amount of money, they stiffed me on a lawnmowing job, and there just wasn't any profit to be had with that job.

Hows the kress equipment holding up?
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess5 күн бұрын
So far so good. I’ve been really pleased with it. The batteries and charging are amazing. Have now used it for 1 year in all sorts of conditions. Just released my long term honest review of the mower where I go over my likes and dislikes and wear and tear of the mower. Thanks for watching. @LawnCareBusinessSuccess5 күн бұрын
😂 It’s not that bad. This method makes it much easier. I use to parallel park the truck and trailer the way you would a car by pulling the trailer along side the car in front and that while doable is much more sketchy as the movements required to get the trailer in position put the tow vehicle in danger of hitting the car in front. This method avoids all that. Thanks for watching.

Considering the 11Ah I could do 4 with high lift and high power I’d guess 10 of the lawns I do with those settings on the 25Ah. Sounds like a fun test that I can do in September when I’m back to weekly mowing. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching.

How do I know if it will work on a Remington grass trimmer? Can’t find any information about what will work.
@tfo81877 күн бұрын
so basically its a 1,000 dollar adapter that needs a (sold separately) 1,600 dollar battery to even work.
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess7 күн бұрын
Yes basically but you have to keep in mind that by having the battery separate you can use it to scale as your business grows. So a solo operator may only need one battery but a large crew with 3-5 guys in a truck may need 3 batteries. Having the battery separate and sold separately allows you to build your ideal setup. That’s one of the things I love about Kress. All the different battery sizes and charging solutions all being compatible allowing you to build the ideal setup for your situation. Thanks for watching.

I particularly appreciate how complete and thorough the testing regime was here, including trying the various grits of flap disc. I am a trained scientist, not a mechanic, and this video reads like a well-written paper in experimental physics or observational astronomy. What I'm trying to say is that for a person of my background, this is effective technical communication of a very high level of quality. Thank you. This is going to be my next project. The house where I am staying has a janky old lawnmower that would barely run, and thanks to KZfaq videos, I learned to clean the carb, change and gap the spark plug, and fix poor contact between the ignition coil assembly and the engine block (which was the real problem). I'd never gone this far into small engine repair before. It was hugely satisfying when the lawnmower fired up on the very first pull, after days of frustration. And it didn't struggle or hesitate, it now runs like it's supposed to. I couldn't believe it. I shut it down and let it cool off and started it again: this time it took two pulls, because I'd forgotten to push the primer bulb. And it STILL started and ran like gangbusters on the second pull. I know way more about computers and electronics than I do about engines, but thanks to KZfaq videos like this I was able to apply the Scientific Method to get a dead engine running, and running quite well. The trick, like any other, is to identify and eliminate unknown variables. The carb and spark plug and fuel weren't the problem, but I didn't know that until I tackled each one in turn. Also, apart from buying tools like nutdrivers and a spark plug socket, I basically received a free education in those areas, which I never would have gotten if I had stumbled on the correct solution straight off the bat. The vibration from the blade is so bad that I'm worried it will shake the mower apart. So I am now moving on to blade sharpening and balancing. Fortunately, the same shed that furnished the mower also furnished no fewer than three electric angle grinders. I will follow the advice here and report back when I'm finished. I plan on just using a screwdriver for balance testing, I think I can probably at least get the blade closer to being into balance than it is now.

Nice review. I'd like to get one and see how it compares to the Toro 60v. I run one electric and one gas but thinking maybe get rid of the gas mower. Just don't like the price of the electric.
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess9 күн бұрын
Thanks. I also have the Exmark 60V which is the same as your Toro essentially. There are positives and negatives with both. I did a video on the Exmark mower last year as well. I find with the high end battery mowers like the Kress that the performance is definitely on par with gas but the biggest sticking point for most people as you said is the up front cost. You really have to factor in the savings in fuel and maintenance over the years. Thanks for watching.

Just bought a Milwaukee weedeater with the 12ah battery, it only lasted me one lot. Chain link fence getting weeds and grass out. It was a Weedeat fence and edging job. Only lasted me about 45 minutes to maybe an hour and still has a lot to do. Not a very big lot. How long in total time of running the weedeater through the 11 houses did it last, total working time. I’m slightly disappointed it didn’t last longer and my wife is very disappointed

Cannot trigger once and have the controller go automatically thru ALL zones in series, not simultaneously. You have to set actual time of day that each zone starts (1:00PM, 1:20PM, 1:45PM, 2:10PM, 2:35 PM) if you desire all zones to run in series.
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess25 күн бұрын
Yes you can. At bottom of app in multizone settings. Select the applicable zones and set the start time it will then start with the first zone and gone through each sequentially until done.

No ALL OFF button? How do you turn everything off easily when watering restrictions prohibit all watering until further notice? Just asking. Otherwise, I understand everything well.
@LawnCareBusinessSuccess25 күн бұрын
The easiest is using the app to just turn the on/off toggle on each zone to off. There are only 8 zones so not too difficult and that way keeps your schedule in memory just ignores it while the zones are off. Thanks for watching.

I have the T model and it has worked well for about three years. I have 6acres with house, fences, garage, and trees to work around and I am pretty abusive with my tools but I maintain them well. I use only the Red Armor fuel and is more than strong enough for me. I don't know any thing about the other models but the T is pretty good. Red Armor is pretty expensive but I tried the other "popular" brands of fuel and they made the engine clater and there was a reduction of power.

I would agree that for commercial use this spreader would be a deal breaker. Considering the typical homeowner doesn't throw down nearly as often and would be able to hose down after every use, it seems this is an ideal spreader for the price. It seems every spreader out there has their own finicky issues that we as users have to engineer work arounds for, this one is no exception except being a fraction of the price as many of the commercial spreaders.
