Are you on Linux with PipeWire? If you are, use `pw-metadata -n settings 0 clock.force-quantum 256` to prevent the crackling. Some old sound cards can be iffy with some software expecting small buffers.

You'll get about a year of constant use out of it. It developed a crack in the oval seams on the top that I couldn't repair. I'd probably still buy it again if I needed one

The hex bolts that you used to hold down the motor were for the hydrolic piston. The Allen key bolts were supposed to be for the motor. I used almost 2 full gallons of hydrolic pump oil and replaced the bleeder with a #72 auto vent. Keep the mall end up a little bit. It's actually a powerful little beast. Ps mine has the vent in the front near the splitting mall.

Still have it. It not come with enough hydraulic fluid by far. But that's about what I paid for it. I didn't use it this last season due to so much excess wood. Good luck with it. Should work well for you!

It was so long ago I don't remember exactly, BUT I do recall the bottle that came with it was not enough. Fill it, run it, and move the piston and watch for bubbles in the line. Shut down, then add more hydraulic fluid until the bubbles in the line are gone. I think I cycled it about three times until I got the amount right.

You need to use almost 2 full gallons. Replace the existing vent screw with a #72 Auto vent and keep the blade end up a little bit. I guess mine is a newer model and the air vent is at the front near the splitting mall.

Thanks for the video. I too bought a house with one of these stoves in it and I am trying to figure out how to use it. Probably the model is from the 1999 era. When I open the door I see string sealing. I was wondering is yours like that? How does that not burn when it gets hot?

That’s a fiberglass braided cord. Your house could burn down and that fabric would be unscathed.

I have the same Intek Dura-Beam queen. I noticed in other reviews that the King Koil queen looks a good bit smaller. How have you liked it since this video? I was considering getting one since I'm tired of the Intek deflating especially during camping trips.

You were very fortunate, it was a twister blowing down power lines. You didn't realize what it was, and had it headed directly towards you, you likely would've been in great danger. Glad to see you were unharmed by it.

Sadly no. It was patched out last time. EA has a habit of reusing old code, so once again they copied and pasted a glitch back into the game. But REST ASSURED the fix already exists just have to wait for them to copy and paste it from the Madden 21 patch from back in 2020.

Only complaint is that I have to pump the bottlejack a little during use. The springs are apparently enough to cause about a 1mm gap over 45 seconds. It might sound like a small number but it makes a difference. Still love it.
