Does it need to be mounted level or can I calibrate it to zero? Can I adjust the incline degree it triggers the alarm at, independently on for, aft, left, right, because my vehicle has a different maximum tip angle depending on the direction. Because 30 degrees side/side is not at all the same as 30 degrees for/aft. Also I'd appreciate your 3-year review.

Hello, can you share how you've liked the OGO Nomad for the last two months? Also do you find the seat to be relatively comfortable/normal? Ive heard some say that simpler composting toilets (eg Boxio) can be uncomfortable. Thanks in advance!

I thought the same thing. But after trying to design something for my boat, it was easier to just buy something like this. That I would've paid in materials and time, this made more sense.

Interesting. I have to wonder if the full-time fan isn't defeating the purpose of the swamp cooler, i.e. bringing in hot air unnecessarily. My guess is there's a humidity 'point of diminishing returns'. Once the space gets fully humidified, it won't cool anymore, and have to "start over" with dry air. ... That would call for a vent fan that went on and off based on humidity... "that would be different." Ha. 😅

I've found mine perfect for my toyota van. In fact even with its small size, i have to turn it off every half hour or so, then back on again when the temp lowers inside the van. It has no fan in it so i put a fan over the top of it to circulate the heat and that makes a huge difference. If you dont use a fan with it, all the heat goes to the ceiling area of your space. For a small area like a van i find this much more useful than a buddy heater that is and ackward shape and puts out too much heat. Cheers.

Thanks for sharing this video. Did you come up with condensation issues with this butane heater? Since it puts out a lot of heat I suppose you do not have to use it for too long for 3 season use, maybe 15 to 20 minutes would work. In that period of time, would there be condensation buildup you think?
@CAMPC2C
@CAMPC2C Жыл бұрын
I have not had any issues with condensation, but I only use it for short amounts of time and have a vent open. It's pretty dry here as well. When possible I use an electric heater.

How long do you have before you have to fill water? Hours? Does the fan still blow without water? For instance, while your asleep, would you have to wake up every 3 hours to fill it?
@CAMPC2C
@CAMPC2C 2 жыл бұрын
It depends on the fan setting and the room temperature. On the lowest setting it should last most of the night. You can also run it with just the fan without the water pump. If you hook a hose up to it you don't have to worry about adding water.

This thing works very well for the price. Depending on HUMIDITY. Water sound is also nice. The water goes quickly depending on the humidity. "Halfway" full of water seems to last approx 3.5 hrs. I use COLD WATER that is stored in the refrigerator. It actually works. If you've thought of ice, that works as well. Fill res halfway with ice, then add water. It works however, the ice melts FAST. It adds A LOT of moisture to the air.
