Why don't Americans bother to learn definitions of words? Private corporations giving loans is capitalism, not "communism" or "socialism". The state controlling things is socialism. There is neither a private or state ruling class in communism; that is the entire point of communism, so it is not communism if those are the factors involved no matter how much you call it that. Where you are seeing the state conspiring with private corporations to entrench their rule in the failing state of capitalism is the literal definition of fascism. EGR = Exhaust Gas Return valve. On diesels, it sends unburned exhaust back through for secondary combustion. It is expensive. When it fails, you are blowing CLOUDS of thick black smoke out the wazzoo, and could get an expensive fine. Arguments exist that you "could" remove, clean (un-stick) and re-install the one you have, but I don't know if that's realistic for any backyard mechanic to pull off.

Here is what happens when corporate tax is raised: everything cost more (inflation), companies move out of the US, people in the US lose jobs, and your 401 K and IRA accounts suffer if they make less profit. If you are retired and living partly off dividends you will suffer if they cut dividends because they have no profit. If you have any mutual funds you OWN corporations in the stocks that are in them. Rately do i disagree with you, but one comment i take exception with and that was republicans want cheap labor. All the private conservative businesses I've spoken to, prefer english speaking Americans but of course at minimum wage. While probably half of the liberal businesses want non-americans. Whether they can communicate or not. Why? Because when you short them each week, they don't complain. One person i spoke to said, he's a day laborer. Supposed to get paid $20/hr with a four hour minimum. On those days, he's seen less that $40, even though its under the table, the contractor tells the day laborers he's paying their taxes. He might be, but its questionable ethics at best. The contractor advertises he's a Christian. In any event, the day laborer says nothing for fear of not getting work the next day, or getting turned in. And the laborer tells me it's worse where he comes from. My opinion, this is slavery. When I ask about how many hours he works, he indicated it varies from day to day, job to job. He lives in a trailer park with about seven other men. I've seen the trailer, it's an old single wide. I'm guessing around 500 square feet.
