So your happry to fly in the Nature Reserve SSSI Blackwater an area with Management: Royal Society for Protection of Birds (RSPB) and Natural England
@chrischarlescook6 сағат бұрын
@chazM6116 Yes. Because its allowed. But its important to respect the wildlife. Avoid nests. Keep to max height and maintain VLOS. Common sense basically.

Magnificent! Thank you. There's so much to learn with these little devices. As for suggestions on places to travel, the most amazing shots I've seen have been in Iceland, but there are so many. South East Asia is also epic, and they don't seem to mind about drones so much. Probably a bit far for you?

Did you add extra stabilization in post?
@chrischarlescook10 күн бұрын
@thomza No, not in this tutorial. I wanted to show it unedited. The only changes I made was to saturation and highlights. I will say, though, that the Air3 is WAY more stable than the Mini series.

Very well explained ! As an owner of Mini 3 Pro / Mavic 3 Pro, I always stay away of Hyperlapse mode, being overwhelmed by the settings… Now with your clear and precise explanation, I will give it a 2nd try for sure 🙏👍 My channel will definitely see more hyperlapses content, now ! 😂 New subbed here ❤ Keep up the good work !

I am new to this process but so far the images look amazing after the merge. Never knew this options existed. Question? Do you prefer to merge the Jpg's or the DNG's?
@chrischarlescook13 күн бұрын
@MegaFr33dom Personally, always DNG. The RAW files hold much more data which helps with the merging 👍 Thanks for watching 👊

I have the DJI Mini 3 with 4K video, i don't see any Hyperlapse feature in my settings?
@chrischarlescook14 күн бұрын
@ptaylor5014 Unfortunately the Mini 3 does not have Hyperlapse mode. The Mini 3 Pro does.
@tcgreen115 күн бұрын
You can do it with timed photos then edit it to hyperlapse in software. Mini 3 is a solid drone

Sorry if I missed this, but - I noticed you are shooting in S(Sport) mode, does that impact anything for the hyperlapse versus using C/N? Great and informative video, well done!
@chrischarlescook15 күн бұрын
@robbinsdrones Hi! Well spotted. It wont affect Hyperlapses. I mainly keep the drone in Sport as I film near wildlife often. Extra precaution in case birds get too close for comfort! Especially the Mini as it doesn't have the speed of the Air 3. Hope that helps👊

I appreciate your videos. One of the issues that most new drone flyers face is a lack of technical photographic knowledge...like me. FPS, ISO, shutter speeds and how they work was all new to me. I think you have found a niche. Looking forward to more of your videos.

It’s always nice to listen to a successful photographer. I’ve been a photographer for a very long time and now I’m shooting real estate and it’s devastating. I could probably should just about anything because I’ve got experience shooting everything but I am stuck in a shit rut.
@chrischarlescook27 күн бұрын
@realestatephotovideoshawns1177 I wouldn't consider myself successful right now. Most of my press work was between 2014 and 2020. The industry has no money now, and I think local press outlets will collapse soon. I used to work 3/4 stories a day. Now it's 1 or 2 a month. Part of the reason why I started a YT channel is because I was stuck for a creative direction. I even applied for a real estate job myself last month. Its important to remember what you have achieved over your WHOLE career, not just recently. There are photographers that excel with a single shot and others who are consistent over many years. I think the most important thing is to be happy with your creations, not the invoice. It's part of your soul to create. But we all have bills to pay. I wish you all the best👊

Construction and surveying use other photogrammetry programs to create an even better aerial. They also automate the flight and capture process. Many are expensive and are fussy as to which drones they work with but for example "maps made easy" is a pretty low entry of use and works with many lower end consumer drones although some of the newest DJI drones are not able to be used sadly. My Mavic Air 2 works.
