Good lateral movement both directions on his feet and in the butterfly, good rebound control, good motor, good second efforts, good angles against speed coming into the zone on both sides, good reflexes, doesn't stay down too long, quick to get back on his feet, good 5 hole control, fills space well despite a small frame. I'd like to see a few bad plays and ideally a whole game to get a sense of weaknesses. Kid is good.

Lets hold off on saying the wings/Yzerman regretting the pick/ calling him a bust Cossa is only 20 dude goalies take longer then skaters to develop didn't help much that grand rapids was garbage for most of the season

@@pineapple3266 Been a hockey nut since 1963 so yeah I know how long goalies take to mature into the position. Just saying Wallstedt who is a few months older than Cossa is farther advanced in his progression. Also rated higher than #33 pre draft..

We were at his first start in Grand Rapids. The last minute was 6 on 4 but Griffins pulled out the win 3-2. I hope he has a great future in AHL/NHL.

This kid is the most fun goalie to watch in the game right now. He’s a fiery guy, and has incredible recovery ability. Hope he can quiet his game down some and work better on making saves on angles, but talent and compete level are insane.
