That snake moves and looks like a Gaboon Viper - large head, heavy body, catapillar motion - famly must be in Africa.

It is insane how well a gaboon can camoflauge with a simple cluster of dry leaves.

The bite concerns me after you mentioned bee stings. Idk if I'm allergic but bee allergies run in my family and I have hypertension to boot. Maybe a spider isn't for me, which sucks. But I can respect them from a distance I guess.

Kvalitne tutisticke topanky, palicky a chodime iba po znacenych chodnikoch , vyhybame sa miestam jde by mohli byt. Slnečné stráne, skaly a pod. U nas je problem s medvedmi, premnozene a tie sa pre hadzaju aj okolo ludskych obydli a aj v mestach😅

I love to watch the rectilinear movement of the magnificent Gaboon Viper. All those muscles attached to each rib visibly working to move this snake along. The Gaboon Viper is the reason I keep Blood Pythons and Sumatran Pythons which are of the same body type, ambush predators. To me, the Gaboon Viper is one of the most beautiful snakes in the world. This one is a West African Gaboon Viper?
