Why Ford make an oil change difficult? Old school, crawl under, unscrew the oil filter and oil pan drain plug. What was wrong with a simple way to change your oil?

I have a 16 ATSV tune 501 hp/tq to wheels and had to get ToyoR888 for grip. The torque hit just breaks the PS4S loose. Tried Conti, Bridgestone all HP Summers and had to go up to Toyos. Toyos are loud and Next will be Goodyear Eagle 3 or 3R.

Thank you!! Well explained and went just as you showed. The upward pressure to release the spoiler from the tailgate was more than I expected but it finally gave. A couple of comments to help others: 1) 13mm 12-point deep socket is a must, a 9/16 6-point socket may work but is likely to slip on the plastic cover on the nuts (did in my case, and I ended up going and buying the 13mm). I'd also recommend an extension. 2) where you cut off the nuts, I used a small drill bit next to the nut and held the head of the bolt from spinning on the plastic (poor Ford design metal in plastic). 3) have extra nuts on hand for when you drop one into the tailgate (yes I did). Again, thank you for putting this video together, I was down to 2 LEDs, and when I got the old one out the lens fell off. For reference, I was working on a 2015 Edge SEL with 82k miles and a power liftgate.

Has anything changed so far? I’m almost ready to do the heads & cam addition to my 2023 C8 but I’m on the fence because she only has 2,700 miles. Also, can you share what was the final price at Boost District? Did they include the Frankenstein heads or did you pay extra for that?

Lol bro this is completely unnecessary... I agree it's a terrible design, but I've changed my oil 3 times now with using the gallon size baggy method with no issues... As long as you turn the baggy with the filter and keep adjusting it before it breaks loose you'll be perfectly fine

Is 1 inch lowering enough? I feel like you need at least 2 . I have a non z51 , no mag ride, no front lift. Think my best bet is to do paragon z51 oem coilovers, then add there springs for 2 inch drop. Thoughts?
@eight16garageАй бұрын
Depends how low you're looking to go. The way you're talking would get the car looking about the same as what you see here. These were aftermarket wheels but factory 19/20 inch tires on the Z51 coilover with their lowering springs lowered all the way down. I will say with their lowering springs, I did not like the way the car felt hitting bumps and bridge transitions on the highway. It was pretty violent on some of the bigger ones. Around town driving was fine though. On my last C8 I did 20/21 inch wheel and tire sizes and lowered the car on the Z51 coilovers with factory springs and it was almost the perfect ride height. Could have been a smidge lower in the rear but it wasn't bad looking and there was no change in ride quality.

Very good numbers for a NA car , are you running e85 as well? What's the cost of that set up ? Compare to the ridiculous Boost prices for this cars so far. 600rwhp NA with the mid engine set up would probably run low 10s

No e85 on it as of this video. I planned to do e85 this spring but change of plans. It’s about 12k for heads/cam/tuning. Could be more depending on other parts you may want to add like CAI, intake manifold, cats, etc.
