Thank you so much for sharing this. My mind as a Brazilian and Hungary descendant who is only on the second year of entrepreneurship in the US was blown away with this video. It also reminded me that I am yet to visit Hungary, specially Budapest where part of my family immigrated from. I guess the world and human history is, in the end, a history of immigration (legal immigration).

Thank you for sharing this. I wish you all the best on your entrepreneurship journey. Just remember that if it was easy everyone would do it! Yes the world is made up of a history of immigrants making a better life for our families. I am also one of those stories.

You have to start learning a language from early childhood, although in this case the second language is the second language. I have 3 second languages and English is my weakest second language which I only started learning at the age of 35. Before that age I didn't know that I had the sound of English in my head... I know what a real second language is...
@englishmasters3325 күн бұрын
Interesting perspective. Where I grew up a second language is just that. A second language you learn, doesn't matter your age. Any language you then count as a third and a fourth and so on. So for you, you have your first language (native) and then English would be your fourth or fifth language and that is impressive! The more you use it the better you get at it. Language is a tool to be used to communicate. You got this
@vogditis25 күн бұрын
@@englishmasters33 We can count as we would, which does not change in the general situation. I grew up in the Soviet Union and my best second language is Russian, which was the main language in that country, but if I compare my first and second languages, my first language always wins this competition between them. Next languages for me will be German or English and at the moment I am a little confused which of them will be my third language. My German is at a very low level, but I am happy with it, because I have heard that many people who studied in the Soviet Union could not break the language barrier. I struggled with my English for 18 years because I thought it was not really my second language. I used it without any English grammar. Now I understand why it happened, I had not made a base of language in my mind. That is, I did not have my English in long-term memory. I had lived in Ireland for 14 years, and Irish English is not my language. For these two reasons, I thought my English was something strange. Now, in my fifties, I am building the base of the language, that is, I have started to feel English words as they are used in sentences.

@@vogditis that is an amazing language journey. To speak so many languages and still continuing to learn and use another one is inspiring. Now that you have identified the issue I am sure you will reach your fluency goals easier and feel more comfortable using English. I wish you all the best!

@@englishmasters33 Kids start learning with 2+2, have much more knowledge at the end of school, build their way under the guidance of teachers with mistakes, continue to build their math castle. I didn't learn English that way, I didn't take lessons, I didn't ask a teacher for help. I even got the idea that I don't look at what others do, I don't know how to correct mistakes when someone points them out. I started learning English when I was 34, and it's not the same as learning a language when you're under 30. But after many years, I can say that I have a real experience of using the language in life. I have an English language that I created in a very different way as a child. If I could still learn the language like a child, it would be easier. I have had a few cases in my life where people who learned English as a second language in school have asked me to help them talk to an Irish person to make some kind of deal in their lives.

I am a person who stutters since I was a kid. In my experience, most English teachers do not account for the time spent stuttering when calculating the cost of a class. Unfortunately, many people today are still not familiar with or prepared to accommodate stuttering and other disabilities. Considering that stuttering can be time-consuming, utilizing AI tools for practicing and learning English is much more cost-effective.
