I recently had a 1/4 inch dia bolt lodged in a nearly new tire. Took it to the shop who sold me the tires. They elected to vulcanize the area from the inside instead of using a plug or patch saying the hole was too big. This procedure was much more detailed and time consuming but left me feeling much safer. I am not saying that your method is bad, just that it seems to depend on the size of the hole whether or not to use this kit.

My 2020 Camry with that crappy 8 speed was the biggest pile of junk I've ever had. I used to joke the windshield wipers were the only thing that still worked right until they started acting up. A mechanic at the dealer told me they get lots of complaints about the 2018 and up Camry's but it probably won't leave me on the side of the road. Something you didn't mention was Toyota quietly replacing tens of thousands of the 4 cylinder engines because of bad castings in 2020. If it leaked oil through the casting it was replaced. Mine smelled like hot antifreeze so Toyota put block sealer in behind my back. It was up to the customer to find the problem. Newer Toyota's are throwaway pieces of junk. You can't rebuild any of the drive train because Toyota made it to minimal standards to save weight. Overheat the engine? New engine costing thousands. I paid extra to buy a Toyota because I still trusted their products back then. I went from a Toyota lover to a hater. Toyota wouldn't or couldn't fix that garbage car. Stick with a pre 2018 Camry. Those were bullet proof. Toyota quality has taken a serious dive recently. It started with the Camry in 2018.

After reading some of the comments..."I've got 205,000 miles on my Subee. I love it and wouldn't drive anything else. Had to have the engine rebuilt twice due to bad head gaskets and warped heads, transmission replaced once...suspension few times, brakes every 6 months. I still don't trust the infotainment system which acts on its own at any time. Car feels noisy and underpowered...but I wouldn't drive anything else..." My 1976 Ford Pinto is laughing... so is my 1980 Yugo. Both have all the original parts.

Any vehicle will last a long time if you maintain it and don't drive it like a mad man. Also, even the best rated vehicles will get destroyed by irresponsible owners. Videos like this one are pointless...

You saved me a bundle of money with your review of the 4th-gen Prius. I was considering "moving up" from my 2010 Prius (3rd-gen), but you showed me that I'm better off with the car I've got! (And as far as it goes with the 2010's piston-ring problems, I haven't experienced it and I'm just past 150,000 miles.) Granted, it's about as "exciting" as granola-and-soy-milk, but I'll testify with you that it GETS THE JOB DONE. And if I want an "exciting" rice, I'll take its "stablemate," my 2001 Corvette.

I have a 2013 Volt with 130k miles (100k of which I drove). Great car. I have a lifetime MPG of 110mpg. Since the car gets about 35mpg on gas, that means 75mpg is coming from wall charge. That means only 32% of the lifetime driving on this car has been propelled by the gas engine. So my gas engine only has 41k miles on it. The battery has not degraded at all because it has its own heating and cooling system. When you walk by the car on a hot day you can hear the chiller running. Great car!

All yammering except at the end to tell us that Pepermint oil mixed with water in a spray bottle will do the trick. Could have said this in 1.5 min instead of 5min. I know it sounds mean but I literrally got tired of why rodents nest and where and what they bring in. Just tell me the fix and where to apply the spray and what to navigate around and be done.

I have a little vibration in my 2015... but for mine, you have to look for it, it's not otherwise a problem for me. Might help I'm in Florida so a/c is almost always on pushing up the RPM by about 100. If that's my biggest issue, I'll gladly take it!

Hi there. I’m buying one hopefully-it’s 2024. The one I’m buying is a 2005. Buying because I need a reliable vehicle for $5K or less. 164K miles…any thoughts? Or things I should check when I go test drive? Also, do you have any thoughts regarding an Avalon vs Solara? Thanks!

So do Grand Cherokees have 9 speeds transmissions? And do you know what they hell you are talking about - also - how many 3.6L Pentastars are out there? I know this as a guy who did rocker rollers/lifters - but I'd almost consider that maintenance - I did it myself which is way cheaper than a shop - but then there is the timing chain vs belt conversation, my cams were fine so only roller rockers and lifters, $350 in parts to do it myself, and as for the oil filler issue - that is because shops over tighten the filter cap, and likely use an impact
