I have used to live in a nuclear family since my childhood. please give me some correction / feedback guys Contrasting views from both goverments and citizens related to progress of the country is common issue in this democtratic era. Some people believe there are many forms of progress should be prioritized, while the government just focused on economic stability. I stand with citizens that believe there are many parameters need awareness from policy makers. First of all, we can discuss from government’s view towards this issue. Economic progress must be a primary sector at least with three key reasons. Healthy economy is the first reason because this parameter can shows another country about how wealth they are. Then, if economic is well manage by the government, they can gain high tax revenue. Last key reason, outstanding performance of economic will help people to exit from unemployment problem. Nevertheless, citizens think that economic is not enough to be representative as a national progress. There are many forms of it such as adult literacy rate, social equality, and sustainability on environment. Literate people are be able to partake in skilled labor. This is a concrete solution. Also social equality is a great parameter to represent country’s progress because that can role as sign of citizen happiness in a country. Furthermore, people hope government don’t remember environment as a natural resource that contribute to economic. Now, it is in ruin and we must pay attention to environmental protection issue. So, from my point of view, economic is important but there are other types that equally important to represent national progress in international stage. Literacy rate, social equality, and environment sustainability are representative of progress of country together with economic as key marker to measure its quality.
