Fun Fact: The first four Super Bowl logos are from a 1989 trading card set, not what was used at the time. Super Bowl I and II were called "AFL NFL World Championship Game" respectively, Super Bowl III was the first to be named "Super Bowl" but the roman numerals were not officially used until Super Bowl V

No knock on 2-time winners like Kevin Stefanski, Ron Rivera, Bruce Arians or Dan Reeves... But when Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, and Andy Reid only have 1 and (4x Super Bowl winner) Chuck Noll has none the list just looks, well wrong...

There were no seeding from 1967 to 1969 in the NFL. There were conference title games between division winners. The Browns played in 11 NFL championship games between 1950 & 1969 which is more than any other team ever has in a 20 year time frame. They are also the only team to play in 6 consecutive title games & no other team has ever played in more than 4 straight.

Hot take I have: The conference championship game as a round is dare I say, a bit underrated. Obviously you’ll find great games, and terrible ones as well like the history of every round. For some one sided conference championship games, look up 1991- Washington over Detroit, or 1990- Buffalo over Los Angeles (as the Raiders were then). For some good ones, look at the Ice Bowl, matchups between San Francisco and Dallas in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, and both that the Seahawks were in in 2013 and 2014, and that’s just scratching the surface. But in some cases, the Super Bowl ends up being a more lopsided game than one of, or both conference championship games. For example, you may have heard people talk about Gary Anderson’s missed field goal in the 1998 NFC Championship Game more than anything about Super Bowl 33. That’s because that game was close, and the Super Bowl that followed it was not. Also, at various points in history, the conferences were pretty imbalanced as well. Consider that from 1984-1996, every year the NFC team won the big game, with some of those in blowout fashion, and in the mid 2000’s when we got the earlier championships of Tom Brady’s career, Indianapolis’ only championship with Peyton Manning, and Ben Roethlisberger’s two Super Bowl wins, the AFC was clearly better. Especially in 2004 when two 8-8 teams made the playoffs in the same season in the same NFC conference. Whenever you are looking at the conference championship games since the 1970 merger, you also are always getting four teams that made the playoffs, and won a game when they got there no matter what (or those who qualified when fewer teams did beforehand), and the fact remains, those teams are playing for the right to participate on the biggest stage in the sport, the Super Bowl. So in a way, I find the conference championship game a bit underrated as a round.

I gotta say, why did they stop using the football helmets? In the end zone those were tight. I wish they'd go back to that. One of the most coolest things I've ever seen.

Why did you use the old logos for the teams? For example you used the Baltimore Colts logo for the INDIANAPOLIS Colts. You also used the St. Louis Cardinals logo for the ARIZONA Cardinals.

Just for a update , This Player’s real name is not Spec but is Orban Sanders (Texas) and played for the New York Yankees in the AAFC from 1946-48, then played 1 season in the NFL with the New York Yanks in 1950. All of the stats are exactly the same, dates, yardage. I’m just trying to help You out with this information.

Since co-MVP was a thing -Tom Brady so deserved his 4th in 2021. Guess he’ll have to stick with his 5 Super Bowl MVPs and 7 rings-which should’ve been even more. Also, Mark Mosley, a kicker, winning MVP in strike shortened 1982 is hilarious.
@nflpicksmore11 ай бұрын
Brady was an absolute monster even in his 40s, but yes the fact that a kicker won during a strike year just speaks volumes about that year haha

I love the Browns Elf Logo I think it's so unique, but I agree I think the Bears are headed to changing their primary logo to the Bear one that they have as the secondary one. I love that Chiefs logo too but that Arrowhead is just so lethal especially now
