My 06 mustang clicks from the arm by the belts when I have the AC on, please how do I fix it?

This was the exact video for 2015 edge sport v6. Took 5 minutes. So easy. Part was 50 bucks. Unplugging negative terminal didn't clear the code. But after further review if you fixed the problem correctly, ford cars and trucks will clear the check engine code themselves after a certain number of short trips. Took our car about 3 days driving 25 mile trips to work and back, be patient the code will clear if you fixed the problem.

I've been told that soaking the mirror when using glass cleaner containing ammonia reacts to the mirror's chrome. I ended up putting a multi-purpose split view dash camera/GPS/speedometer combo rear view mirror from Amazon on my Mustang. Didn't cost much and It's OK but . . . ehhhh.

I just got a 2003 town car that was once used as a limousine, it has the tint and I hate it, on the back window especially I guess because of the defroster grid it's bubbling real bad, I thought of turning on the defroster and let the heat help with removing it, I'm afraid of damaging the grid, the car isn't pretty to begin with and the tint makes it look worse.

What is the purpose of the 409? I was wondering if it would work without the 409 . I have a new car and dont want it to smell like 409 . I know im not spraying it on the car panels or interior but just dont want to risk it

I too am having the darnest time trying to line up the holes to insert the white plastic pins..am I to remove the bottom portion of the glove compartment as well, because I have to climb under the glove box to try and insert the pins.

Did all this, and still hot air ??

2024 UPDATE, this happed to me, you don’t have to unplug the battery, just leave the key in the turned on position till it stops blinking, take it out and start it

This works, but seems that 3 days later, i have to redo the steps again. anyone else seeing that? I wonder why it works for like 3 days worth of driving and then needs a new reset so often nowadays (2005 mustang gt convertible, with an autostart installed too)

Clicked on this video to learn how the door panel comes off. The door ajar switch can be turned off in most cases without replacing the switch. Soak the latch assembly down with WD 40. Let soak though for a couple of minutes. Then open and close the door a few times. Light should go off. The switch sticks in the open position. When I worked as a tech we charged an hour to fix that. Never had one that didn't turn off.

My 2009 v6 has 13,000 miles on it. I still love it after all these years.

Great video! Getting that thing back in was a nightmare. My car was in ready mode when I took mines out, so it turned out of position and would not line up properly. Advice anyone taking this part out disconnect the battery completely turn your car off. Otherwise, when it comes out, it will keep rotating clockwise to try to find the stop position and put you in a world of hurt to match the gears on the reinstall. Best bet put the broken one back in let the stopper range do it thing back turning the car back on to reset the actuator motors position using the broken gear. Turn the car off completely so the actuator motor doesn't turn when you take it out again and go from there.

Unclogging those drains is very important as I found out in my '06 years ago after a torrential rain storm filled up the wireways to my Smart Junction Box. It required replacement. I figured out the display color changes soon after I bought the car in '06 and somehow reset the window some years later after it stopped working correctly. I don't think I used your reset trick but either unhooked the battery or some other method, I don't remember. Your video gave me some great info on the seats. For years I thought that the back seats looked like they should fold down. I had a 1966 GT fastback many years ago and the fold down back seat bench was really great, so every few years I've explored ways to lower my '06 rear seats without figuring it out. Now as soon as I finish typing this, I'm going out there and lowering them down.

Putting back the locking ring is a pain. The new gasket was too thick so I had to reuse the old gasket and had someone help push the locking ring down while I tapped it back in place.

I’ve had an intermittent check engine light. Shop troubleshot down to this part. Ordered and replaced myself easily thank to this video! Saved me at least $300. I had a rough idol at times. Seemed like the engine started to go then would catch up with a rough shift.
