Thank you for this beautiful video... but I admit that I have been looking for months... I removed the N249 and I put 2 x 330ohm/10w resistor under the intake manifold and connected the DValve hose under the manifold and I want to remove the N112 and on the secondary air pump power socket I must also put a resistor or not? because then I would find myself with 3 resistors in total and all the removal kits only have 2 x resistors in total... I am lost... I put a 330/10 resistor to try on the pump and I failed P0411and P1297...thank you very much

For optimum performance never let anything touch the bottom of the tank . Make a cheap wooden frame to suspend the head from tie down straps or something. Then you will see the results of 10 inducers ( the 30 litre version has 10 )

There is a metal basket but this was too big to get in the basket Going to get a wire rack or something to help suspend stuff off the floor of the tank 👍🏻

hello i'm trying to tap m10x1.5 but in the kit i got it has inserts? it says to use a 13/32 drill so i did but when i used the drill to make the hole & begin to turn the tap it gets stuck?? i can't tap through for some reason.. don't know what i'm doing wrong

So the kit is telling you to use an imperial drill size to cut a metric thread? You need a 8.5mm drill bit for a normal m10x1.5 thread If it’s got inserts then I’m not sure exactly without seeing the kit

Hi, I have a question. I also have a POLO 9n3 GTI, but my car doesnt make any sound when my doors are kept open nor do I have a blinker sound, I was wondering if you have the same thing or not.

By sound are you on about the lock and unlock beep of the horn? I don’t think the polos came with it, not in the uk anyway. The blinker sound is normally the relay clicking so if the lights are still working as in flashing for directional changes then the relay may be on the way out

Metric data sheet says I need 4.2mm for 5mm tap. Obviously I will use 4mm but.. Why do they confuse people? Thanks for video.

yeah I'm not sure sometimes the data does conflict. Unless you're tapping holes for aircraft use or heavy industry I'm sure a 4.2mm will be ok haha

No I ran the cables behind the dash myself, the cables coming out the back of the gauge were already part of the gauge when it came in the box.

The mounts have settled slightly since this video so they aren’t as stiff but they are 100% better than stock 👍🏻

100% the cause of the power loss. Cracked housing means leaking air and that’s not good 👍🏻

what springs do you have? I had three in the kit and just fitted the stiffest one and its been fine since ? i think its just the amount of boost the spring can take before it creeps open?

Had a look on creation motorsport for the oversized TIP. Does it have to be specific to the 9n3 BJX or can it be any of the K03 1.8t engine’s? As they dont have the black or red ones in stock. Cheers

I had same issue it's a boot (trunk) seal I ended up drilling a 6mm hole and put a grommet on to protect from rusting. There is a hole but that's for the battery vent

Yeah I drained it through the battery vent for now but will need to get it all out clean it and come up with a more permanent solution in future 👍🏻

That’s a baseline for the torque the standard rods can handle however there’s always an exception

It you use a sparco 150 filter directly connet with the original air Hole attack on the original front bumper , you can use "effetto venturi" for improve air velocity .So you Will arrive to improve hp until 3 or 4%.👍

Anyone able to get the app to work? Is there an Android version? Reason I ask is both “CFA Light” apps on the store (Chinese & English) crash upon scanning for the light. The lights are preconfigured but I would like to go in and have a look at the options and use the light testing feature

@Car's&Engineering 0:49 would you happen to know how to remove the reservoir cap from a Seat Arosa? I've looked every and can't work out how, it has a flat cap that is hard to grip, I've even looked in the manual and it recommends use the screw driver in the tool kit that comes with the car and it doesn't work if anything it tightens it, please can you help with this one?

@CarsandEngineering thank you that is really good advice, thank you. I have managed to remove it using a pair of adjustable grips, I opened the grips and use the nose end of the grips to twist open the top, like you said it was stuck fast shut. Great posts loved them, keep them coming great work 👍🏻

Best thing to do is to email BC racing they will tell you if they do coilovers for the non GTI model
