There are several research institutes where you may find job opportunities; you will also have a chance to pursue a PhD at the university under LCSB. That master is highly competitive and was over-subscribed this year. So, I think you should start on time and apply for admission on the first day, which will open in Feb 2025. @@peacehelen-mi9wk Usually students legally residing in Luxembourg can bring their dependents provided they meet the requirements. I don't have the exact information if a master's degree student can bring his or her family at the same time of travelling or later. It seems that researchers such as PhD researchers with job contracts from the university etc might apply for their dependents visa at the same time as theirs but I am not sure if this is applicable to all. My suggestion will be to email the Immigration Directorate Luxembourg for more clarification as individual cases may vary. My personal opinion will be to travel first for your study then plan for your dependents later that is with the assumption that you genuinely want to come to Luxembourg primarily for study purposes and NOT use the student status as an avenue for family relocation. University of Luxembourg is the only public and cheapest university there the rest are private and somehow expensive

The university of Luxembourg is the only cheap public university funded by the government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.The rest are relatively quite expensive unfortunately. However, despite the competitive nature of admission at the university of Luxembourg, if you make a robust application and start on time, you may secure an admission. If you are applying for three courses, it is only logical to modify your motivation statement to align with the various courses. You may start your motivation letter with your first choice and change it to fit the other two courses. First, you need to read about the master's programme you intend to study and compare that with what you did in your first degree and make the determination. I dont know the context of what you studied, so you are in the best position to make that determination.
