“No Place Like Home”! Only left the area to seek employment in Flushing, Queens, NY. West Mahanoy Township area outside of Shenandoah was where my family home was. Relatives, also. Memories! My 2 (of 3) sisters cried when we saw a vacant lot where our parish, St. George’s Lithuanian Roman Catholic Church stood, demolished in 2010 by the Archdiocese of Allentown. 💔🙏🏼 Now, in NJ (for jobs), we visit family gravesites in the Heights. I have my own tombstone already set up by parents final resting places.). We get kielbasy (DELIC) at Kolawanik’s Kielbasy Shop. (Spell???). Love you Schuylkill County! 👌🏼

Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed the video! I have a comment: Thank you, Steve, for bringing out the difference between a firearm and a weapon. I have been trying to make that point for a few years now; my 1911s are NOT weapons, they punch holes in paper and sometimes ring steel.

Thanks Stephanie, it is a awesome place to shoot. I've been there twice, both times I experienced almost a holy hush that seems to be in the atmosphere when what through this place. It's well worth the day trip. I suggest taking a tripod with you, even though they will charge you extra for taking it in.

Really nicely done video! It clearly shows what's going on, and does a lot of explaining for people who don't yet understand. Camera work was great, sound was good, and I really enjoyed your walking down the range showing different shooter's guns. Maybe next time you can say more about the guns? There aren't that many videos of Bullseye, so I'm happy when I find one, especially something as well done as this. I could post it in the Bullseye Forum, but it would be more appropriate if you were to do so, so you could answer questions people might have. You can find the forum here: www.bullseyeforum.net I started shooting in the 1970's, and got in Bullseye maybe ten years ago. I very much enjoy it. I'm so glad to have found your video!!!!

I used to shoot a Bullseye league and then got into the Masters and they had a Precision event that was 25 and 50 meters timed for 45 shots. No one ever shot clean and I am talking some of the best in the world. It was all steel reactive targets.

Great video Steve. I used to shoot competition when I was a kid back in Kansas. Now it seems any range I go to here in Cali is full of people just burning through ammo like fireworks just to hear it go off. Senseless and rather disturbing. Thanks for taking me back to the days I remember as a kid. :-)

I'm 66. Grew up in SoCal, when there were lots of gun shops, gun shows, gunsmiths, and ranges. Different planet now. Moved to AZ in '96. More and more spray and pray-ers here too, seems like. Everything is about Black Rifles and plastic squirt-gun looking 9mms. Sad.

I started going in 1990 and it is still just as big. Yjey did change the midway layout in 2009 and made it wider. It will feel strange having it in July this year. If they don't end up having to cancel it due to the virus. Great Video Steve. I have a few York Fair videos on my channel set to music. One I filmed in Sepia tone.

Steve, this video may not be as long as some teaching videos but it has some excellent advise for new photographers which also become great reminders and reinforcements for those of us who have been shooting for longer than we care to admit. And you have proved the value of that advise with some stunning photos by you and members of the club. Thanks for sharing this. Folks take heed; although not mentioned, the photographs shown reflect some excellent editing by the photographers!
