Great video!! I'm having the same issue, except I'm still getting blocked without being able to raise to the max amount. Did you completely remove the washer and jesus clip on the opposite side? (Where the bent washer was) So right now I have both washers and clips on either side, the belt is tight, but it won't allow me to fully raise. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the "locking lever to the left" part? Any tips you could provide would be hugely appreciated!

Garden looks great, as always! I have been happy with my berry harvest, zucchini’s, tomatoes and the first round of pumpkins. The beetles and stink bugs ate up my peas and beans, but I will try a second planting in the fall and be more diligent about picking them off when I see one.

I’m in Minnesota and just bought a couple of baby jades plants in pots with rooting. Brought them home to put in my own pots. Two questions I have are: 1. When keeping them outside in the summer as little as they are, should they be in direct sunlight? 2. When transitioning them into indoors before winter - what’s a good tip to not stress them out too much? AND how to get sun light for them in our long winters indoors? (Okay, maybe that was 3 questions 😅)

Just pressure wash that fence and seal or stain it and it will look like new.

Love the cozy cottage look! So do the birds and pollinators. I have a 1920s cottage and I love the natural look with letting plants do what they do. Your property is wonderful!!

I agree with you. Your space is much more beautiful than your neighborhood grass. Also much better for the environment around you.

So after 6 years, I think we will have a bumper crop of berries. We were only getting a pint or 2 of raspberries for the first several seasons. Plus the blackberries have finally come to life. Looks like we will be getting quite a few of those as well. Herbs are going gangbusters and tomatoes are growing well too. Planted what were labeled as BUSH cukes, but ended up trellising them to grow vertical, as there is nothing BUSH-like about them. Other stuff is doing just ok for now. Hopefully the heatwave and plenty of water will bring everything else to life. Your place looks fantastic!

I just happen to come across your video and not saying this to be rude or anything but it might have helped to keep the tree trimmed back away from the driveway I would say that that is your responsibility to do that so that you do not have other vehicles running into it a lot you said that there were quite a few coming and hitting it was just a thought I would keep it trimmed back just so it doesn’t ruin the tree

It seems that this hoe works nice and easy on very dry loose soil. In the UK the soil is mostly damp because it rains often. So would this hoe work on damp compacted soil as it looks wonderfully easy compared to my kneeling down weeding by hand for hours on end hours

I am researching garden chippers as I am in the process of getting one, so here is my question for you ...... one year later after you made this video, do you still have this chipper, is it still working without issues and would you buy this unit again today after using it for a year. Thanks for the great video.

Nice work, Kristopher! Here in Zone 6b (MA), we have put a lot of effort in the last few years to increase the number of gardens and trees around our yard. We've added a number of raised beds and border gardens, and our "orchard" (two apple trees that also started as whips along with two pear trees that came to us already bearing fruit) gave us a nice harvest for the first time last summer. We cannot wait to see what this summer yields.

Without (Geomesh) barrier mating, your gravel will trade places with the dirt in no time at all, resulting in the skids resting on mud. Although a fine job nevertheless...

Its a great mower, I've had one for five years. One thing I've learned was that I need to sharpen it every season, and regularly adjust the blades, maybe once every couple weeks. Otherwise, over the years the blades get dull beyond repair. Basically this mower requires a lot of maintenance and babysitting to stay sharp over the years.
