Question Iv soaked my red peppers in vinegar water for cleaning while cutting them open there seems to b water inside maybe from the water soak but r they still good ? Was there a hole ? They look ok just unsure to keep ??
@KitchenTipsOnline
@KitchenTipsOnline Күн бұрын
It's possible that the water inside the peppers came from the vinegar water soak, especially if the peppers had small holes or imperfections that allowed water to seep in. If the peppers look and smell normal, they should be safe to eat. However, if you're unsure, you can cut them open and check for any unusual signs like mushy spots or an off smell. If everything seems fine, it's likely safe to keep and use them. If you're still uncertain, it might be best to discard them to be safe. Mike 🧔

I have made this a dozen times or so form the original McDonalds Chef video, it is spot on! I use low-fat mayo can't tell the difference. One thing i would say is let is set for at least 30 minutes to come together, you can keep the extra for weeks in the fridge. Also you don't need to make the double patty, triple bun. You can put this on a single burger with , cheese, shredded lettuce, diced onion and pickles and you get the same taste. But my favorite is the Big Mac taco's. smash ground meant onto a street taco sized flour tortilla, S&P cook meat side down first, turn it over and cook until done, put on the same toppings on and eat it like tacos, my son loves them and low carb!
@KitchenTipsOnline

Thank you for sharing your experience and tips! Using low-fat mayo is a great idea for a healthier option, and it's good to know it doesn't compromise the taste. Letting the sauce set for at least 30 minutes is excellent advice to enhance the flavors. Your single burger suggestion and Big Mac tacos sound delicious and creative! I'll definitely have to try the taco version - it sounds like a fun twist that my viewers will love, especially those looking for low-carb options. Thanks again for the fantastic feedback and ideas! I’m really confused. Other videos say celery produces Ethylene gas and that’s what causes it to go limp. You’re saying other fruits produce Ethylene gas and should not come in contact with the. celery, correct.
@KitchenTipsOnline
@KitchenTipsOnline 19 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I understand the confusion. Celery itself produces very little ethylene gas, which is why it’s more affected by ethylene from other fruits and vegetables. By wrapping celery in aluminum foil, you’re protecting it from external ethylene gas, which helps keep it fresh for longer. I hope this clears things up! Mike 🧔

@@KitchenTipsOnline Thanks, so much Mike, I have a habit of using that recirculating button because it definitely makes the interior of the car cooler but then there is this downside and for the longest time I was wondering why I get this mildew smell continuously on the turn on of the A/C or the heat in the winter, I do live in a high humidity state, bought this up at the dealership on many occasions even every year changing out my interior air filter system and that’s a high expense each year with no results to the smell and I’ve had them clean the vents to. Thanks so much for this helpful video I’m now going to try this and hope it works as you say it does.

I was hoping you had a good solution for my trash smellies. Our main trash bin doubles as an adult diaper pail. Even though we double and triple bag, its beyond unpleasant when we crack the lid. Hoping to find an effective diaper pail soon, but until then, we keep a sanitizer/deodorizer spray handy by the bin and empty it more often.

Thank you for sharing your experience! Managing trash odors, especially from adult diapers, can be quite challenging. Here are a couple of suggestions. 1. Baking Soda: Sprinkle a generous amount of baking soda at the bottom of the trash bin and in each bag. Baking soda is great for neutralizing odors. 2. Charcoal Filters: Place activated charcoal or a charcoal filter in the bin. These are excellent at absorbing and trapping odors. Hope my suggestions help, Mike 🧔

Hi Mike from the UK. Am I right thinking that it would be a good idea to temporarily switch back to re-circulation if you find yourself sitting in traffic? To avoid dragging in exhaust fumes, right? Im not a driver so Im curious. Cheers!
@KitchenTipsOnline
@KitchenTipsOnline 21 күн бұрын
Hi Rich, Absolutely! You’re correct. Switching to recirculation mode while sitting in traffic can help prevent exhaust fumes from entering your car. This is especially useful if you're stuck behind vehicles that are emitting a lot of exhaust. However, once you're back in motion, switching back to using outside air can help keep your evaporator clean and reduce humidity inside the car. Thanks for your question and interest! Cheers! Mike 🧔

Thats weird, isnt it supposed to be the exact opposite? I know with my window AC unit the condensation is the problem as some moisture gets trapped deep in the unit and will eventually lead to mold and mildew. Do car ac units work differently?
@KitchenTipsOnline
@KitchenTipsOnline 21 күн бұрын
Great question! While it might seem counterintuitive, car AC units do work a bit differently from window AC units. In a car, using outside air with humidity can actually help flush the evaporator, preventing the buildup of odors, mold and mildew. Window AC units tend to have more areas where moisture can get trapped, leading to the issues you mentioned. Thanks for watching and for your insightful comment! Mike 🧔
