I have these over both eyes and under. They are noticeable after a bath, less noticeable in the day! I do hate them, my glasses tend to cover them. I actually thought it was wearing glasses that caused them!

I used to do this with a slant tip or point tip tweezer. They really aren't blackheads, they haven't oxidized yet so the tip isn't black. But they sure are satisfying to pluck!

I don't like the q tips because they tend to slip and it looks like it could be painful. I like the removal overall because he got rid of that debris!
@MadAboutSkin20 сағат бұрын
I agree the risk of slip is not good but this one turned out just right lol x

Toners, boosters, humectants, oh my! The only 3 things I really need are a retinol, a simple moisturizer, and a mineral sunscreen. AM: wash, moisturize, sunscreen. PM: wash, moisturize, retinol. These 3 things are the ones that have actual scientific, peer reviewed, control based, studies to prove efficacy. Sometimes I do play around with the fancy stuff in pretty containers just for fun. But I don't really need them.

I wish you would reconsider your cotton qtip bias 😂 they're actually the perfect tool for most blackheads; the perfect amount of direct pressure, with a flat soft pressure point (instead of a hard pointed fingernail 😳) The problem is with the ppl who try to use everyday ppl qtips, the kind all of us get at the drug store...those shouldn't be used by professionals; they shld be using the medical grade ones! They are much stronger (prevents slippage.)
@MadAboutSkin20 сағат бұрын
Haha its the risk of them slipping I hate but I am coming round to seeing their benefits lol.. love x
@blisskris506320 сағат бұрын
@MadAboutSkin yes I know and totally agree. I think it has more to do with the professional, then it does with the tool though. All love either way ❤️ I look forward to your shorts every day and have for a long time 😊

❤❤❤, yes, I love toners and use those more than serums. I have seen a huge change in my dry skin because of toners.

❤ I have found if I don’t use a hydrating toner, my skin suffers. I tried backing off them a couple years ago and it was not good. I also found one layer isn’t enough.

I'm old enough to remember when toners were full of alcohol. I still use them and am not giving up toners any time soon, but now I look for soothing or hydrating formulations.

In Dr, Lalit Kasana’s latest videos, he treats a patient with much larger solar acne in the nose and he tries to use the tweezers but it is clearly not an instrument he is comfortable with yet. It looked like he was using them upside down and if he had used them like this video, I would have been curious to see how that patient’s nose might have fared. I do love noticing the different techniques and standards in various countries, more so by the dermatologist than spas. I remember with the a Vietnam spas started uploading and they weren’t using gloves or the gloves weren’t clean. As they read various comments from the international community, you can see a clear effort on their parts to up their performance and quality in supplies and techniques and it shows, if you watch videos from ten years ago and now, it is clear that their viewers have driven change. Since a Vietnam is a communist state, it is possible those supplies were not as affordable to them as us and that the money they have made online has helped cover investment in betters tools and supplies. That certainly is a positive. Nowadays, I try to be aware of the year when a video was originally filmed and give that video some grace the older it is.
