There are examples in the project of AI characters that use the system. They're placed in the demo maps as well for you to see in action :)

just played the demo, not quite there yet in terms of anim sets. the walking and jogging turns feel off and slo mo, sprint feels alright but yeah.

Thank you for the feedback! I should note, the movement speeds are fully customisable, and the animations adjust their play rate to match the stride and movement speed. The speeds from the demo are just example defaults, that can be changed in your character blueprint :)

Here's a question- how can an aiming pivot offset me be implemented? for example, when adding a rifle to the player's hands, I've had great difficulty getting it to rotate up or down based on the pitch of the camera. The weapon and head should point where the player is aiming, I have not found a solution yet... tough to research!

Were it a slower paced thing, video or slow paced game I would agree, but in slowing down and adding the expected anticipation and windup, it risks really killing gameplay responsiveness which generally will matter more to users.

How much coverage do you have for the leans when running? I cant seem to get them to be smooth, they always flicker (I'm guessing your using root motion to drive the character). Orientation warping somehow isn't doing it.

Full coverage for leans, I've got animations at rotation rates of 30,60,90,120,150 and 180 degrees per second. I'm not using root motion, I don't really like the idea of being (somewhat) locked to the movement speed that the animations dictate, so for rotation I'm using a smoothed rotation system, similar to ALS

you dont need its easily obtainable by just dragging a few animations to the container, i wouldnt suggest to use it since its not stable and not gives moch control on animations

@@faynkid - it's not replicated - it doesn't work for AI characters - it doesn't use thread safe updates, so optimisation could be improved - it doesn't allow for running arcs The epic sample project is a great resource, but my project and the sample project offer very different things, and different animation styles, but ultimately it's up to the end user to decide whether it's worth the value :)
