NO, you CAN NOT decide to follow Jesus. It is Jesus who comes to find you, like the search of the lost sheep or lost coin. When you are lost in sin, you are de*d and a de*d person can not find the living. It is Jesus who comes to find and save you.

@@jabumjoka86 . Isa 65:1, I am sought of them that asked NOT for me. I am found of them that sought me NOT. Which verse do you quote to say that YOU can decide to follow Him? Because the scriptures say in Roms 8:29-30 I have predestined you and wrote your name in the book of life before the foundations of the earth. Rev 13:8 So, there are some people who are not in the book of life who even if you pay them a billion dollars or hold a jun to their head, they will never be able to decide to follow Jesus. The disciples decided to follow him because they were predestined from the start.

When God decided to hate Esau in Roms 9:13, whilst he was still in his mothers womb, what time did he, Esau have time decide to feel in his heart whether to follow Jesus or not? What happens if you not given the Holy Spirit to convict you? Because before you are saved you do not have the Holy Spirit in you.

Roms 9:20-23, Just to show his power, he has the right to decide to make one pot/person unto honour and another unto dishonour and destruction. So my friend, if he decided from the foundations of the earth that you are for dishonour, they is nothing you can do to decide to follow him. Eph 1:4-5, chosen/predestinated before the foundation of the world. John 15:16, You did not choose me, I chose you. John 6:44, noone comes to me unless the Father says. Eph 1:11, predestinated according to his purpose. Matt 22:14, many called, few chosen. Gal 1:15, set apart before I was born. 1 Thess 1:4, God has chosen you. Luke 18:7, God has his elect.
