Let's say we need to repack goods from a sack that weighs 25 kilo how would you do do the costing? And If we also sell a sack, do we have to make two different SKUs?

Hello juddandrewuy9995! If you buy and sell an item in sacks but store it in different units, make sure to use the proper sales and purchase units of measure (e.g., 1 sack = 25 mini sacks/kg/etc.). You don't need to have different SKUs for them. Can you use multiple scanners at the same time? I want to track 10 employees who take parts and chemicals from my shop every morning. They are all at the shop at the same time so Id like each one to have their own scanner that tells me what they took from the shop.

How to figure this out In practical terms using a calculator .67 / 1.67 = .4 or 40% margin. ------------- Margin to Mark up conversion formula || Mark up / (1+Mark up) . I took 100 and subtracted the 33% = 67%.

my question is that, before connecting the inflow to xero, I do need to create xero account and set up the accounts and inventory item, or inflow will automatically setup my xero account?. thanks alot

hi there! great question. You will need to setup your Xero account first before connecting with inFlow. When inFlow pushes the invoices it can create the products for you inside XERO, but your other details like Taxes, and Accounts you want to use will all need to be setup in Xero first before making the connection! ^PT

Saddly when visit the pricing ............ its too expensive . Infact very very expensive . i think you should look into that . i recently checked many inventory system and erp system have reduced their prices now. which is more convinient for users . I would very much like to shift my business to inflow .. but not with the price that you guys kept with so much restrictions.... u offer. Thats my Advice

Thanks for the video. I'm only interested in having quantity be synced between the two product and not transfer orders over. Can that be the only integration? I want Shopify to know how much stock there is from InFlow. I didn't see an option to turn off order sync.

Hey guys, thanks for the video ! Looking forward to watch more. Question regarding the use of the bundle feature in inFlow when you enable the automatic creation and completion of the manufacturing order when you fulfill a purchase order : how can your warehouse employee scan the full picking list to make sure they have every item for the bundle if the manufacturing order is already all picked and completed automaticly ? In other words : how do you make sure the BOM is fully honored without even scanning ?

In regard to your question, can you confirm if you meant "the automatic creation and completion of the manufacturing order when you fulfill a SALES(?) order"? If so, as long as your BoM is set properly for the 'bundled item', your employees will not need to scan each specific component of the bundle into the Manufacturing Order. If this automatic creation of the MO setting is turned on, once you have picked the 'bundled item' on the Sales Order, there will be a pop-up to advise that a Manufacturing Order was created. You can then click the pop-up to head to that MO directly and check if the quantities are correct. Is there a way to account for it selling in person vs. online? For example: I sell online, but I also do in-person events. Trying to find a way to keep track of inventory when I bring it to events instead of manually writing down each thing.

Hey Heather, One solution to this is to set up different 'Locations' for your inventory. Once you have done that, you can set the Main Location on a Sales Order so that the order can deduct stock from your selection, once the order has been picked/fulfilled. Hi Kapadyak! Using the formula in the video, with a markup of 25% (or 0.25), your margin would then be 20% (or 0.2). Margin = 0.25 divided by 1.25 = 0.2 Let us know if that helps! ^AM

Hey, I was curious if you guys offer a barcoding program similar to a library. I work for a flooring company where customers will check out and return larger 2'x3' samples. Hi there, thanks for the comment. Which software doesn't look the same, inFlow or DYMO's? DYMO has 2 main softwares, DYMO Connect (their newest software for their newest printers) and DYMO Label. inFlow is only compatible with DYMO label and won't work with the newer DYMO connect. So it's important to have a label printer that does support DYMO Label (ie the DYMO 450 model). We do also have a new label software that will be releasing in the next few weeks that will be compatible with most label printers (DYMO, Zebra, Brother etc) and should make the process a lot easier! Hi, just run across your video. I have a question. I am working for the garment company as a warehouse supervisor however, we are counting our inventory manually which is time consuming and exhausting and we are receiving so many different products for all season. Basically, once we receive the products, their barcode is always on the products bag. What should be done if we start using barcoding system. We have different brands but usually the products are same and on the spreadsheets they are easily seen. Any recommendation to facilitate our jobs? Thanks

Hi Taylan, other than creating a new product with a unique product name and barcode each time, you can consider use the scanner to scan the barcode as the product barcode AND name. For example product name Apple and barcode 01230, you can use the scanner to scan so that name and barcode is both 01230, but you would probably want to remark it as Apple in the description sometime after.
