Ugh, there’s nothing worse than having a good run turn bad quick. Glad you got through it and some days miles are just miles. 💖

Sometimes we just need to walk and sometimes runs are just a struggle. Sometimes days and weeks are just a struggle. But you are still such an inspiration and so motivating. (The Nike Run App has a great run called struggle run that I listen to when things get hard).

What were your walk/run intervals?

I'm a slow walker. So, on Sundays, I walk to work. It's about a five miles round trip. The other days are five miles run to get ready for half in November. I was short of $$$ for the challenge. Take care.

I am a little behind with the videos, but catching up! I used Galloway with my first two Dopeys, but got injured both times. Found a different plan that works better for me, but I still use runwalkrun for my runDisney challenges and marathons.

Kristen, I am so very sorry for your loss. Like your Ellie, Falstaff picked us. He was the sweetest, white English Bulldog who exceeded his life expectancy to live a beautiful 12 1/4 years. A year before he slowly started with some health issues that were well controlled with meds but 'the day' happened with no warning, it started like an ordinary day. As he was our first dog I prayed he would never suffer and I'd be with him till the very end: I'm grateful I was able to cuddle him, tell him how very much we loved him and that Jesus could hardly wait to play with him. It's 2 years this month and although we have another bully, no dog (or person) will ever take the place in our hearts of our Sweet Falley as I'm sure with you with Ellie. Falley and Ellie are having fun waiting for us. God Bless you and your family, you have my very deepest sympathy--Susan

I know exactly how you feel. I've had to say "goodbye" to three of my best friends over the years. It hurts so much when we have to let go, but our lives would not be as rich without a dog. Give it some time, but all she gave you in her life will remain in your heart forever.

Girl, my heart hurts for you😢. Having to let one of our bunnies cross the rainbow was one of the hardest things we had to do. Her sister suffered when we were on vacation and passed by the time we got back and we didn't want her to go the same way. May Ellie's memory live eternal.
