Bro could you help me pleasee, I want to buy this board, Iam a normal rider ( not noobie, not professional, I ride in fields) Wich version do you recommend me? The camber one or the flying V? Please and also Iam looking to use ir with genesis step on bindings and burton sweath boots what do you think about that kit? Thanks

The standard camber Burton custom is an excellent board. The Flying V is not necessary unless you consider yourself a pro and want to max out the board technology. I’ve never ridden the Flying V but am completely convinced the standard Burton custom is still a great overall board that meets all my expectations. Consider getting the wide version of your boot size is larger than 10

1ST Time riding the Custom and I absolutely love it!! But I loathe the Est Burton bindings. I Didn't notice any benefit from the "Board Feel".... So now I'm stuck with an amazing board that I can't really ride because the Atlas bindings are making creaking sounds every time I jump, like it's gonna crack the Channel system or possibly rip out.

I have been using the same gas powered snow blower since 11/1994.Already got my monies worth, well maintained and should last me another 15-20 years. Average cost of ownership with maintenance so far is less than $32 a year!

That’s money well spent. Jury is out if these electric snowblowers will last that long. We will see but I’m a motor head at heart and so far the EGO does need about 2 $20 scraper bars per year. No gas no oil. Sounds like it might be about the same cost right now. Thanks for the comment

Lawn tractor, a snow blade, 2-3 passes, maybe 5 minutes max, and you're done. Plus, you won't be covered in snow. That does a pretty darn good job though. Be ready for $500-1,000 in batteries in a few years.

Why not just use Ego skid shoes. There looks like there is enough space to use them? The same thing is needed on the bigger two stage units, they come with shoes, You have to lower the shoes.
@ALBOECHANNEL
@ALBOECHANNEL 5 ай бұрын
That’s not a bad idea. I’ve considered the modifications to do it. Fact is the shoes are gonna wear down too but would slow down the wear of the scraper bar. This machine needs that scraper bar to make contact with the surface to ensure max snow discharge to prevent a glazed slick remnant layer. I’ll continue the consideration. Thank you for your comment. Please subscribe in case I do add the shoes to my snowblower

This is my 3rd winter with this snow blower. With dry snow its fine, but heavy wet snow is absolutely terrible. I had just under a foot of wet snow last week and the amount of pushing and pulling I had to do to get through that snow was equivalent to using a shovel. My back is still sore. I ordered the 24in model cause this model aint cutting it.
@ALBOECHANNEL

You’re correct. The wet snow is this machine’s nemesis. It does struggle. I typically have dry fluffy snow where I live in Colorado. Let me know how that 24” works for you. Thanks for your comment. Please subscribe if you haven’t already.

They should make little adjustable sleds or wheels that are designed to handle the front weight of the unit. You should not have to replace a $25 part every time you use your snow blower.
@ALBOECHANNEL
@ALBOECHANNEL 5 ай бұрын
I completely agree. There would have been room for them to make a longer one and have pre drilled holes in it to move it down as it wears. This is one of those items that EGO likes so they can sell a cheap piece of plastic for $25. Thanks for the comment. Please subscribe if you haven't already

Thanks for this. We have a STEEP and tightly winding driveway and our snow plowing service just can't clean it effectively. We still have to go out & shovel AND pay the service. So we're considering a battery-powered snow blower, but it has to be light enough to maneuver on slopes of up to 35°.
@ALBOECHANNEL
@ALBOECHANNEL 5 ай бұрын
I’ve shoveled for years and this machine is worth it. If your driveway is steep you could use this machine to work downward with ease. The two stage is more expensive but is self propelled and could eliminate the need to pay for the service. Thanks for the comment and please consider subscribing. I’ll have more videos coming soon

I'm trying to decide between the 2 stage and the single stage. How difficult would you say it is to push this through the snow? It looks like it assists you, but I'm getting pretty old! Thanks!
@ALBOECHANNEL
@ALBOECHANNEL 5 ай бұрын
It’s important to snow blow right after it snows. That’ll typically be easier because as it sits it gets crusty from freezing and or wet from melting. I live in Colorado and our snow is mostly light and fluffy. It’s comparable to pushing a lawn mower in my opinion. I think if your driveway is flat you may like this model. Regardless both single stage and 2 stage are easier than shoveling. I have an Amazon link in the description on the model I have. Thanks for your comment!

nice, your running 7.5s for batteries? 2 pointers, your driveway is not very wide. So based on wind direction toss with the wind to just 1 side even from the far side. You and your machine won't look like snowmen when you are done lol :), Second, I got a bottle of a hybrid ceramic car wax, 3 coats, all over the machine, outside and inside the auger housing and the chute. Helps alot with clean up after and chute clogging.

Do you have to use any snow jet since you got steel augers? Which auger material do you recommend: steel, rubber, plastic I’m in NY where we get lake effect snow, wet/heavy and some light
@ALBOECHANNEL

So far I’ve not had to use snow jet. I’m thankful for that. I’m curious if the plastic elements on my EGO prevent some snow sticking. I’ll watch for that. I’ve only owned steel auger snow blowers. Hitting the occasional ice chunk, hard snow embankment and the occasional landscaping rock I’d suggest steel or rubber augers.
