One thing that makes this movie so good is each and every scene keeps you on the edge of your seat. The problem with a lot of modern day movie directors is they don’t know how to keep the action going and the plot either drags down or wanders off like a dog with his nose to the ground that’s been distracted by the scent of something else. That’s part of the reason why a lot of films nowadays end up being clunkers, because the directors don’t know how to keep everything all on one track. Personally, I think The Changeling should be required to be watched by all film students everywhere so they can get the sense of what a good movie is versus what a great movie is! A good movie is John Carpenter’s film Halloween…a great movie is The Changeling. Just my 2 cents….
