All of their music has stood the test of time. still sounds just as good today as it did back then. Many bands dont sound as good. I still like grand funk music, it still sounds good too.

Did Jim ever hear the scream of the butterfly ????????? Maybe right before he died?? Jim was messed up when he left for france, with his H addict GF. The only reason he left was because Florida was going to send him to prison for some crap he maybe did on stage. They didnt like rock bands, and for sure didnt like jim. He left to avoid all that legal mess and possible prison time. Without the music, and his band mates, I think he just gave up on life. But Florida legal dogs helped kill him by not dropping the stupid charges!

There were So many great bands then. 65-74. The Doors remind me of the Animals. Really Dig the 61 GS Standard. Gibson.

2024 - They're all gone now. It's too late. For the rest of us, it's not too late for rock musicians and fans to accept Jesus as your saviour. Ask Al8ce Cooper.

These songs take me back to the late 80s. I was just out of high school... taking acid every weekend and listening to these tunes. Carefree days for sure.

I’m guessing Morrison is related to the first Neanderthal that found a natural magnet and had it in a pouch and sat on an iron heavy boulder one day and tried to explain that he couldn’t move and he didn’t know why. I’m not calling Morrison stupid just having his verbiage in a Neanderthal explaining he can’t move for reasons unbeknownst to him. It would just be funny is all. I mean the first anyone that found a magnet would be a hoot to find what they thought said and did or tried to do once they came across metal of some kind. It was theirs and now it won’t move and nobody can pick it up. 🤷‍♀️

I wish that I could see Jim Morrison singing on stage because the background light in the video is too dark. Absolutely love Jim Morrison. It's a shame to lose such rare talent like Jim Morrison who is still hot today in 2024 as he was in the 1960's/1970's. His music will live in our hearts and minds forever. May he rest in peace.

L.A. had such a great music scene then with bands like the DOORS and LOVE playing all the time. What an epic time for music. Didn't really heat up again until Punk hit in the late 70's. Ray Manzerek would jump on stage at the Whiskey and jam with the band X who he would later produce their first few albums. If Jim hadn't passed away they had a few more albums left in them...
