Hi Tricia! I'm just now watching your video and believe it or not, I do not have that Lanate kit with the sparrows and berries! It's gorgeous though and I may have to search it out at some point! You know I love M. Bastin!! I'm so excited to see your 12 new kit starts in 2024. I thought long and hard about joining you, but I think I'm really gonna try to make '24 the year trying to finish up some of my wip kits. I'm still gonna have a few starts, but will TRY to keep them at a minimum. Happy Stitching!

Hi Christine! I'm currently working on The Four Seasons, which I was inspired to seek out when I saw you stitching on yours. I understand about wanting to focus on finishing instead of starting. Happy stitching!

I love this project bag and your tutorial is great, im just about to start but there’s one thing that is confusing me and not sure if it’s covered. When placing the inner lining with the back panel the step just before attaching the zipper, do you sew the two panels together because I can’t see any pins or clips to stop them coming apart.

What is the black strap down the center of your to scroll rods. Thank you for this great video.
@Tricia-TheLefthandedStitcher Жыл бұрын
It is a elastic cinching strap that I had laying around. It worked perfect for keeping the scroll frame together. Without fabric on the millennium scroll frame, I needed something to keep the scroll bars from falling off.

Hello Tricia!! Does this also work with hand-dyed threads such as Weeks Dye Works and Classic Colorworks?! Thanks!!
@Tricia-TheLefthandedStitcher Жыл бұрын
I can't say, although one of the reasons i rinse my overdyed floss is to relax to kinks in the thread from being looped on its card.

Thx for the video! Good to see you again. Have Staples/Office Max, etc. take your tracker apart and spiral bind it. Saw someone else did that with that annual tracker many use.

thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. i reached out to weeks about how to pre-rinse their perle cotton, as i have never used a hand-dyed floss, and their response was so disappointing and frustrating. instead of explaining how, they told me most of their threads are colorfast except the ones labeled not aka the ones i wrote in for help with. this video is EXACTLY the help and guidance i was seeking. you are so clear and thorough while staying concise and keeping the video a manageable length, i really appreciate it. sometimes it’s fun to hear someone’s life story and how a certain thread has changed their work, and sometimes you just need directions for how to do something without all of the fluff, and you delivered! i can’t wait to rinse my new perle cotton and get stitching!

This is a really old video. But I still want to answer. Yes, I like it when you describe the color. And talk about the drills, the storage etc. Not like a thorough revew, just chatter. (I like this storage boxes. They can hold a lot. The drills are really shiny. In browns I would describe them with words as: chocolate, soil, cofee etc. I love kitting up/ down videos with nice and relaxed talking. One KZfaqr only talk about the drills and storage etc., that is why I can watch them over and over. :)

I had to pause to ask: how do the drills stick to the flamingo?? I’ve only had one diamond paint kit and it was a sticky piece of canvas.
@Tricia-TheLefthandedStitcher2 жыл бұрын
I've ordered some special glue that I can spread on it, and once dry, it is tacky just like a normal diamond painting canvas. It is Craft Buddy Crystal Art Magic Glue.

I have one bag for each color, like Rebecca. I love it. But it takes up a lot of room. If you diamond paint rarely, I think it will be better keeping it like you do now. That is if you do have limited space.
