This takes me back to the 80’s Friends of mine me got married on Halloween so for their 42 anniversary I got them these as a gift They lived up to 2015 and 2018 They both loved the dolls and played them every day

My roommate in college had a '57 rocket 88. He was a holy terror with it, especially after he added the tri-power manifold and transistor ignition. Transistor ignition is the single best bang for the buck addition to improve reliable performance for these '50's cars.

It's called "shaving". When emblems are removed. Bought the car this way.

I didn't know that meaning of 'shaving' before. I was wondering if the previous owner included those parts for you (as part of the purchase) to give you the option later on of re-adding them later (or not) depending on how you feel. By the way, my question wasn't a criticism of your '57, it's beautiful. I love the interior too, bubba. I happen to love the decorations on the '57, and like the 'complete' look of the matching trunk and hood overhang, that's all.

I added headers to my 57 that came out through the wheel wells. The headers were capped while in the city, but uncapped in the country. That was way cool!

i had a 57/ 98 rocket convertible qqith a rocket engine which was black with a red leather interior the paint was a hard coating if scrathed the paint would chip like enamel would you know wath kind of paint this was i had to get rid of it because fire dept. said it was a fire hazard so i cut it up with a cutting torch i seen somewhere a total refurb. that went for 120Gs
