Has anyone know the name of the music starting at 11:57? I've heard this like 17-18 years back watching few telecasts on VHS like Greater Buffalo Open for example, and I still couldn't figure out the name of the music.

It's sad so many people demonize Pete Weber because of some classless moments he's had. Yes I agree most of them were dumb and poor character displays, BUT he NEVER rubbed an unfortunate loss in an opponent's face like someone like Marshall Holman or even worse, Ernie Schlegel (Who is the biggest piece of shit I've ever seen to do that, AND MORE THAN ONCE on telecasts). I've been to telecasts with Pete in it. I think in 2005, another in 2006, and another in 2009. He didn't win any of them but he was always professional and even signed things I brought or bought to get him to sign after the show and even remembered me in 2009. Most people who demonize him now are probably those idiots who just follow the wind and do it just cuz other idiots do it. That's sad and pathetic. Pete knew Lonnie and especially Tommy were tough opponents and was truly sportsmanlike to both of them. Didn't rub either of their faces in it, but oh no, "Pete is an undeserving jerk." Big F U to all of you who shit on that guy.

Peter Hakim was the reason I started bowling lefty when I was a kid. Didn't switch fully to lefty until I was grown and broke my right elbow but been bowling lefty ever since and it was an easy transition since I played around with it for so many years.

This pair was notoriously difficult. Can remember Amleto winning a few years prior to this literally throwing a rocket with hand right up the back of the ball to win. You earned your paycheque at this tournament, 56 games on pretty much US Open conditions.

Jess Stayrook also mentioned that he started wearing tennis shoes rather than standard bowling shoes during the 1992 Quaker State Open. During the 1992 interview, Jess mentioned that he didn’t recommend tennis shoes to other bowlers since it can be hard on the knees.

Bo Burton was wrong when he thought that the 1-2-10 washout that Mark Williams left in the 10th frame automatically clinched the win for Del Warren. Mark Williams still had a potential 220 at that point. Del Warren could have possibly thrown a double gutter to finish with 219. Del Warren’s win was finally clinched when Mark Williams only got 8 on his fill ball.
