I recieved my new brp card with my name changed,however the letter from home office,they dont tell me how i will dispose my old brp card.in the email they just told me despose the old card securely.may nakita po ako na ni sent nila yong old brp nila.sayo po madam ano ginawa mo?

Hello, I am applying for the name change. In the documents that the application require, it says that it requires the marriage certificate under new name. Did you get a new marriage certificate from Phillipines or did you get a marriage certificate from UK?

We were married in the UK. We have a marriage certificate which I have used as proof for my change of name.

Sinend ko lang po yung marriage certificate namin as proof of me changing my name. Parang hindi naman po sila nag ask ng proof of address.

I had a question for you as I have my appointment for next week. Do you hand over your passport at your Biometrics appointment ? I'm asking as I have an international travel at the end of January and I am not sure if I will be able to make it if they keep my passport and are taking 7-8 weeks to process.

No it's only for identification they don't take your passport. Also the time is not 8 weeks it has been changed to 6 months and the fees for it is 0 pounds. I had the same confusion about the time but then I checked on my application at the pay section it was showing that 'most people get their decesion within 6 months '

Someone has reached out to me about that as well. It could be that they have changed their fees, I am not sure. Please be certain to go to the correct website to change the circumstances (name) for BRP.

In the NICU they inserted the feeding tube right away and slowly fed him when I started expressing milk which was a couple of days after the operation.
