Dam, surprisingly awesome play, Impressive and your own spin. I will say as a drummer also that what makes me love Jeff Porcaro is that his play sounds simple to the public but if you listen carefully it's sooo perfect and difficult with perfect studio sound and timing.. there's a drum only track from the original track on you tube that will blow you away..thanks it was great 👍

You should really listen to the video on you tube that is just Jeff porcaro playing it from the studio recording to appreciate it and that your just improvising it with too many changes and your own licks.. the shuffle groove isn't correct but your a good drummer

Honestly, this is the first day of playing it. I’ve never played this out, or with a band. I just know the song from listening over the years. I understand it’s not perfect.. but I wasn’t trying to duplicate. I was just playing along to a song I enjoy. I may “cover” songs, but I’m my own style. Which is relaxed, and expressive. Thanks for the comment! I appreciate the feedback.

Technically on point, but it lacks feel. It's almost like a drum program. I didn't hear any ghost notes either. You have incredible chops but I would work on loosening up your strokes I get the feeling this song is not really your genre. If you want to get feel in your playing listen and play to some funk, blues, and even disco. Otherwise keep up the great playing.

Thank you sir! I’ve never played this tune before believe it or not.. I’ve been in SO many bands, and this one just never made it to a set list. So I wanted to “try” which is all I’d call this.. a “try” lol
