When I first time hearing this song, I was like it is a cool song but when I hear them perform life, it was so emosional for me especially the chorus.

To answer that question: Japan is the most unique culture in that it is so accepting of the new and the different and simultaneously so very conscious of its traditions. The new is inspiring to them and the old is where they draw their sustenance as a culture. In the most strange way, they make it work, and I think they can do it because they don't register a fear of the new and different. I lived there for a while and I can truly say they are an amazing people.
