Hamed was a joke, probably still is. I'd bet that the talking heads knew it, except for maybe Punchy Foreman, but they had to keep stoking the boilers of the hype machine. Guy fought two good fighters and a bunch of journeyman. I didn't buy it. Benitez was almost 40 when they fought, and Barrera, well he just picked him apart. At times M.A.B. looked as though he was waiting to taste some power, but it never came. He fought real wars against the likes of Pacquiao and Morales, who would've exposed this punk as well. The Naz maybe landed two meaningful punches all night. That sh!t works on lesser competition, and It's easy to rack up K.O.s when you're fighting guys noone will ever remember, but Barrera was for real, and Hamed was always for show.

Any other boxer with 33 wins and 16 kos would be defined as having suspect power. Mercer is considered as a beast. Cmon
