@@wrjackhartley 2020 will have a newer frame. I’ve ridden a intermediate motocross track and raced the state off road championship with no problem with the suspension and never caught the speedo cable and I’ve raced hard enduro on it too

@@troyza450 how many kms you got? have you had any rebuilds? I was looking at a 19 with 4.2k km and wondering if that is a lot.

@@troyza450 Thank you very much! Bought a low hours 2018 from a friend and also got the GYTR tuner and found the various maps for the programmable ECU.. Will use your advise. Was impressed at how low you were able to lug your WR!

@@jesseleblanc989 no worries, works best with a after market muffler, the standard WR muffler is terrible for low down power. I’m also using a 52t sprocket

@@troyza450 do any of those items help with the hard to start issue on the WRs? Ive got a bone stock ‘18 WR250F and its kinda hard to start even after new sparkplug and lithium battery. Valves are in spec too

@@TheMadMonkey3 yeah the map and muffler combo does a world of difference, starts easily and doesn’t stall as easy

Not wrong, when you get the right map it has great low down power and is hard to stall

@@ktmhaka yeah search wr250f map on google, look in photos for ‘gytr power tuner’ for 2015 wr250f and try the “smooth linear/slippery conditions” map

Park at sheils rd and drag hill rd intersection and drop down the single track down the hill eastward from the car park

Thanks for answering. I went and rode it and it makes a weird noise when you accelerate and decelerate. Sounds like someone hitting hard plastic together. The cabin was loose and the noise seemed like it was just above the front sprocket. Any ideas if there is anything in that area to check. Thanks

@@rookietrucker1240 if the chains loose it can be chain slap. Bent brake discs also can make weird noise

Yeah I’m in bronze and we got detoured around it then back into the slimey creek where I went over the handlebars, yeah thanks was a bit disheartening

@@troyza450 yeah all classes even junior b were meant to do the first bit, my guess is the first few went round and most others just followed the wheel tracks.

There was a sign saying left for bronze and right for silver/gold going down to the creek

Yeah good reliability, 10000kms before new clutch and full rebuild on my 2009 wr250f and 6000kms for a top end rebuild and soon to be new clutch on my 2018 wr250f

Did a top end rebuild at 180 hours and piston still looked good with regular 500km oil changes or 10000km top/bottom rebuild on my 2009 wr250f, appreciate it mate

@@leosmiata ultra heavy duty tubes, was about 4psi for this race

@@troyza450 same psi front and rear? that low for the wet? what psi would have you ran if it was a bit drier?

@@allfush 12 in the front and 4 in the rear in the tubeless system for that race. Normally I’d run 10-12 in the rear for a faster race

G’day, yeah sure I’ll have mine for 4 years it’s a 2018 and once it was fully unrestricted with the stock muffler it was gutless in the low rpm’s put a after market muffler on and made a big difference but would still stall easy and hard to start then I changed the map to the “ smooth linear/slippery conditions” map and made a big difference, has good low down power for hard enduro and doesn’t stall easy with the exception of losing a little mid to top end power. The 2020 is a new model again, new frame and more power
