It’s not a “cane.” Call it what it is-a log! A cane is a completely different process and look.

3:25 was epic satisfying right there. I hope you tried that lovely color combination again. I'm sorry it didn't work out at first. Very good video.

I get my blush at Michael’s or online. It’s put out from Sculpy Primo, I do believe!

I was also going to suggest a veneer. Another helpful hint with either the liquid clay or paint. After you get it all together in a cube, use a wipe to clean off the outside. Even after you put the veneer together, use a clean wipe or spray alcohol on the wipe to clean off the top of it. Try a small area first to see if it works for you and you like the result. All three were beautiful. ❤️

I have been watching clay vids, and when I saw the second attempt, I was like, oh, she needed a veneer.. which is exactly what you did on the third attempt!

These are really pretty and I love that you showed processes that didn't quite work out. I wanted to asked though if there was a reason why you don't condition the lay you use for these canes? I know Sculpey comes out of the packet quite soft and nice to work with but it can still crack if unconditioned. Do you find your pieces cracking after baking?

Very pretty slab.. really like the way you make your leaf cane.. super quick! I like to wrap it in the vein colour but that’s personal choice 😻

I'm just starting out with polymer clay... And can I say... Watching and learning with you rather than a tutorial is actually so helpful. I really like your videos, and I hope you continue to make them 😊
