@motelghost477 The music industry from the late 80s through late 90s was facing radical changes with fast paved rhythm that even professionals were struggling to follow. Beginning from music genres to the way it was reproduced. So from pop we went to aor to grunge. From buying vinyl records, we shifted to cd's which later were ripped to mp3's , which led to downloading it and streaming. So Mark Hollis was not completely wrong as his music ingenuity was recognized years later. And another preventive factor was that major record labels were a bit reluctant to promote a record that will not sell to audiences or was difficult to listen to. Thus said, Spirit of Eden and later Laughing Stock, were totally emotional records that you should have the appropriate mood to like them. They should have continued performing live but on a more selective way that fans surely would have appreciated

What actually is more surprising.. is that there are not more "likes" or comments on this since it has been posted for 7 months or more.. I for one, am at least glad that it is here and that I can listen to such good music.. 🎶❣️👍

So wonderful. I was searching KZfaq for some live Talk Talk from this period and this was all I could find. Honestly, I’m really pleased I came across this. Really nicely done.

Came expecting to react quoting Samuel Johnson - “it is like a dog walking on his hind legs. It is not done well; but you are surprised to find it done at all”. But it’s actually quite good. Great musicianship, well done. Thanks for the homage to Mark Hollis and Talk Talk.

This is an incredible cover. Couldn't have imagined anyone would really be able to pull off a cover from this era of Talk Talk, but man...
