The Square bombs can be flattened out with a hammer - Remove all the tubing & stick a round Nail that fits nicely through it first, so you don't close the hole up then put the tubing back in !!

Forgot to say westy also. Make sure you wear sunglasses when fly fishing. The constant whipping of hook past your head especially when your beginning ha. Ideally polarised glasses also because fly fishing is more like hunting so your looking for rises to target. Excited to see the first videos 👍👍👍👍

Just a real quick thing.. you will actually get even more action if you switch from the green pepparami to the red one. By god do they love the red one. Also, the spicy sausge is super oily and really great for dyed lakes/murky waters. Your venue was quite clear so green'll do the job as it well did but trust me mate, swap to the red stuff! :D

I dont use the padded liner, its thick enough to protect the fish without it. Then you can use the internal bag to store all your bits for the session and you only need one bag.

interested to see you out on the river, I love all forms of fishing but for me nothing beats catching a trout on a dry fly in a chalk stream

Catch 30 to 40 of them regularly on there on bunches of dead maggots on method feeder but put lots more feed in at start usually mid day is best for some reason.😊

hello westy love your channel. i have been looking at this chair on other channels and have found out that the longer arm that is threaded is for a keepnet and the feeder arm goes on a short arm hope this helps explain why its threaded. keep up the good work i too fish a lot of the places you do and i hope to bump into you on the bank sometime

I do all kinds of fishing and have a shed full of carp and coarse gear but fly fishing is by far my favourite because you're always doing something so it never gets boring. I'd be out every week if i could. Ive only fished small stillwaters and reservoirs though, no rivers or streams as yet. Oh and you absolutely do not need a tapered leader, it might improve your turnover like 1%. Good luck and tight lines 🎣

Tried twice got all gear just coudnt get hang of it tho but love lure fishing so been looking at greys kits quite good prices for rod n reel combos and top quality greys gear lasts forever I've a sea smock greys did must be 25years old still like new 😂
