There’s a way to fix it!! If you change their position in the offseason then change it back it fixes them! Then use the edit coach to change your playbook from now on

Ik this is an older video but when your AHL guys reach 77-79 overall, their growth will plateu. If you want them to keep growing you gotta bring them up to the NHL, otherwise they'll just end up 79 overall like the rest.

Comments on my tiktok informed me it only changes their play style which is why the overall drops. Supposedly you can change it back at position changes. So all hope isn't lost

If a guy is elite I pin them and make sure they're always being scouted. On the player card can click in and assign a scout in the area
