I love your detailed guides, thank you. Regarding the "multi-stage" approach that you discuss to T1 given how it's cambered -- instead of "turning in twice", would it also be a valid strategy to just keep the car a little bit off (say 1/2 car width) the left side of the track as you enter the braking zone, then turn in "once" at the appropriate spot? This seems like it might be a mentally simpler way of accomplishing the same thing (or at least making it so that you don't have to think as much)

I really need to get back out to USAIR, that track is so much fun to drive. Car looks fun out there, I know there was some shifting issues, but was there also a few times that the diff opened up on you as well around 4:55?

For those watching this - the yellow/red/white squares are still there, and per multiple sources are SPECIFICALLY for alignment reference points for folks to align themselves going down the hill, and therefore unlikely to change

Would it be beneficial to straddle the anti-cut curb on turns 7 and 9 similar to the way it is done on turn 19? I did this at a track day and wonder if I’m “cheating”

I love the very detailed walk through. After seeing this, I'm going to try to change up my turn-in into the bus stop as I feel like I can find the most time there! One correction though. WGI - Grand Prix Circuit (with Inner Loop Chicane) - is 3.45 miles long as per Wiki, not 2.5 miles as stated in this video.

what thickness were the carbon fiber sheets you used for the tire spats? you mentioned 1mm but they look a little thicker. also, do they hold its shape after cooling? and during testing, did you find them to push back and into the tire well from drag at high speeds due to mounting points? also, my widebody evo has its inner fender lips cut, any suggestions on how to attach this piece to the fender well?
